[Week 134] — Looking back and ahead.

Abraham Lincoln.

The year 2022 is already going away and in some hours more, we will be wishing ourselves a happy new year. I believe 2023 will be great for us if only we are being intentional about it.

I have been trying not to blame myself for how I procrastinated on something I could have done when I have the tools with me. I have a phone, laptop, space and even data and I couldn't make use of them to build myself more in that area. Though I laid my hand on the goal for a few months, I wasn't intentional about it.

This is another chance coming for me in a new year (2023) and I will not let it slide without doing something tangible about my life and the goals I have written down in my Jotter. Since last week, I have been writing my resolutions and goals for next year and I am being intentional about them. Like, seriously serious about them.

Just like Abraham Lincoln said; I can have anything I want if I want it badly.

One of my goals is to learn a digital skill (Data Analysis) next year. My mind has been on this skill for a long time but my procrastination really dealt with me big time and here I am today, willing to go for it because I want this skill badly.

I have saved some courses online to go for them starting in January as I will be paying for them. Perhaps taking the step of paying for the courses will ginger me to focus on it as I wouldn't want my money to go to waste. Moreover, I want to have the certificate too.

I have written all my goals and plans down in my Jotter and it will be with me all the time so I can always remember I have goals, especially being a Data Analyst to achieve. I want to time myself for a start and that will be for three months to check my progress and how far I can go with it.

I have my smartphone and laptop with me which are good to go with my course. I want to see a big difference between last year when I didn't take it seriously with the year 2023 and I am sure it will be the best step I will be taking for my improvement.

This is my response to the second option proposed by @Galenkp and you can find the post here: Weekend Engagement

Thanks for your time on my blog.

It's great that you are setting clear goals and being intentional about achieving them in the new year. Learning a new skill, such as data analysis, can be a challenging but rewarding experience.

With determination and hard work, you can make significant progress towards achieving your goals in the new year.

Gogogogo Princess! I'm just here cheering on you. And I can actually relate to that Procrastination because even me had a plan to learn new things but all of it was set aside because I'm fudging lazy, huehue. But let see, hope 2023 is our year 💪🥂✨

I don't want to fudge away again next year 😅😅😅 because no matter how much I learn, it's a step to knowing something than not knowing at all.

Data analysis is a good one and I wonder how it's gonna be learning that online🤭. Well, anything is learnable online these days.
I wish you smooth smashing on your goals

Actually, I also want to be a Data analyst. I could say that it'll still be one of the most trendy jobs for the year 2023. I, like you, save some courses online. Fortunately, YouTube helps. You can also do research there if you can't afford some online courses. 😇🤗
