GOD CAME THROUGH FOR ME LAST NIGHT

I HAVE NEVER SEEN THE RIGHTEOUS BEING FORSAKEN BY THE LORD

Ever since I have been serving and trusting God, I never for once feel disappointed because He is always showing up in an unexpected ways for me. He came through last night for me and I slept in peace and having butterflies in my stomach. It was indeed a blessing that came in slowly and surprisingly.

My sister promised me some money few months ago and she had to explain her challenges to me, how she copes in the city of Lagos especially living in an expensive area (Lekki). She has many bills to settle including trying her best to pay up her debts. She told me she would be bouyant soon and probably after the end of next month which is October.

Her house rent would expire by October and she needs to settle it as part of her bills and even debt to pay up. According to her, once she settles everything, she will send something to me which she had promised.

Few days ago, I was so broke that I was only managing the little with me and kept trusting God. I couldn't call my sister to help me out since I know her situation right now. I still kept praying to God to settle her debts and make her happy.

Yesterday was somehow for me. When I came back from school, the little money with me has been budgeted to get my water because my drinking water has finished and I buy CWAY water from a supermarket. With my bike money and the water, it will cost me $2 and that was the only money on me. I suddenly started my period yesterday and my sanitary pad has finished. I was still hoping I would have money by next month and already calculated my monthly period, I didn't expect it to come this moment but since it has come, I don't have a choice.

I immediately called my younger sister to send me two dollars promising to pay her back on Friday because I know I would have something then. I told her to wait so I can send my account details to her.

Opening my online bank app to copy my account number, I saw a notification that my elder sister sent me $10 (5000 naira). I couldn't believe it and I quickly called my younger sister and explained to her what I saw. She was even trying to find an excuse to receive some money from her too 😅

I called my sister to thank her and explained what I have been facing for some days and told her I didn't expect her to send soon. I was thinking till the end of October but God came through her for me.

I danced last night and gave glory to God for His faithfulness. He never leaves His Children to wander or suffer. He is always there to save us from embarrassment. All thanks to God Almighty.
