INTRODUCTION

Greetings great people MCGI CARE Community! I bring us greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus.

THE IMPORTANT POINTS IN THE LESSON

Today's program was centered on the reasons why young people go into early relationship. If you look around the world you will discover that entering into relationship between the opposite sex is something common. Most of this early relationship ends in marriage that finally ends up in divorce. We were taught what the Bible teaches on the matter of entering relationship and these teaching are supposed to guide us so that we won't end up in a wrong relationship.

Luke 14:28-31

We learnt from this scripture that before entering into any relationship we expected to count the costs, which means that we are supposed to check ourselves to know if we are really ready to go into it so as not to start what we can't finish. So we learnt that as young people we should not rush into relationship without adequate preparation because it would lead to a dangerous experiences.

Philippians 1:27

We learnt from this scripture that our lives should be modelled according to the gospel of Christ. So in everything we do we must ensure that it according the prescription of the word of God.

Genesis 29

We learnt from this scripture that it takes time to prepare for any relationship. We saw the story of Jacob and how it took seven years before entering into relationship with the daughter of Laban.

We learnt that one of the reasons why young people go into early relationship is because the improper up bringing they received from their parents. When a child is no properly brought up it affects everything about the Child. Therefore as parents we are expected to bring up our children in the ways of the Lord.

MY EXPECTATIONS THAT WAS IMPROVED

I learnt that life is much more important than building a tower and so it is very important I prepare my self for it......

I learnt that it is against the will of God for me to begin a relationship when am not ready for it. If it took Jacob seven years to prepare, then it is very important I prepare before entering into relationship.......

I learnt that as a parent I should be good examples to my Children. I should not rely on my money or their class teachers for their upbringing. I must make out time to see that they are brought up in the way in the ways of the Lord. One of the ways I can achieve this is by paying the price to know the doctrine of the Lord myself so that I would be able to teach it to them. In bringing up my Children I learnt that I my must engage the rod of correction so as to drive away foolishness from them. I learnt that using the rod of correction on my children will make them better and make them wise. I also learn that it's important I show love to my Children and equally teach them by example because Children are good imitators...
