THE IMPORTANT POINTS IN THE LESSON

Good day great people of MCGI Care Community! I bring us greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus. Today is the day that the Lord has made we will rejoice and be glad in it.

In today's Bible study we were taught that it is not good for members of the Church of God to think evil or speak evil of their fellow men.

We learnt that sometimes as men there are many things that comes to our mind; sometimes it may be good and other times it may be evil.

We learnt that it is in the nature of the human beings to think of negative events. It has been proven medically that negative thinking is part of human composition.

We learnt that negative thinking or negative bias can be removed from us by focusing only on good things and be engaging ourselves in good conversations only.

We learnt that it is the work of Satan to influence negativity in the heart of men, so we must not allow him influence our hearts with negativities.

Genesis 6:5

We learnt from this scripture that during the time of Noah God saw that the wickedness of men was great on the Earth and the imaginations of their heart is evil.

John 8:44

We learnt from this scripture that it is only the devil that thinks of evil; because there is no truth in him, everything in him is lies and he is the Father of liars.

Proverbs 24:9

We learnt from this scripture that our thoughts and heart should be controlled by the righteousness and word of God because thinking of foolishness is sin.

We learnt that there is repercussions in the things we think in our mind because God knows every thought in the heart of every man.

Act 24:16

A good conscience doesn't have ill feelings towards God and towards men. It is not our responsibility to fight people that are thinking evil against us because it the sole responsibility of God to punish the wicked. So we were encouraged to be like Children in malice.

We were encouraged not to listen to everyone or every word spoken against us because we may get hurt if we hear everything that is spoken against us by our fellow men.

We were encouraged to maintain a pure heart so that we can see God. If we accept all the gossip of men and listen to them then our hearts will be defiled.

MY EXPECTATIONS THAT WAS IMPROVED

I learnt that it is not good to think evil of our fellow men because it is not the will of God.

I learnt that we should always do the good that comes into our hearts immediately it comes because the devil may do everything possible to ensure we don't do the good that comes to our hearts.

I learnt that the talebearer and gossiper are agents of the devil, what the devil achieve with them is to separate close friends

I learnt that it is not good to gossip about our fellow men, if we find evil in our fellow men we are not expected to gossip about it, but to allow God to judge them by Himself.

I learnt that the word of God is the only thing that can purify our hearts from every evil thought and negativities in our hearts.
