Sesión de juegos de mesa #5 // Board games session #5

Tuve una nueva sesión de juegos de mesa con mis amigos. En donde pude probar una nueva misión de Unlock, un juego de cartas y 2 juegos que probé por primera vez. Detallo:

I had a new session of board games with my friends. Where I was able to try a new Unlock mission, a card game and 2 games that I tried for the first time. I detail:

The Crew

Es un juego de cartas cooperativo, en donde los jugadores mediante sus cartas y pistas, deben superar diversas misiones. Comienza de manera simple, pero luego se pone muy difícil. No se habla en el juego; así que tiende a irte mejor si conoces a las personas con quien juegas.

It is a cooperative card game, where the players, by means of their cards and clues, must overcome several missions. It starts out simple, but then it gets very difficult. There is no talking in the game; so you tend to do better if you know the people you are playing with.

Ya es un juego que he probado varias veces, y me ha convencido, eso sí el punto débil es que es difícil llegar a más allá de unas cuantas misiones en una sesión.

It is a game that I have tried several times, and it has convinced me, but the weak point is that it is difficult to get beyond a few missions in one session.

Unlock! Heroic Adventures

En esta ocasión jugamos una misión bien divertida, en donde se simula jugar un arcade de los 80’s, muy colorido e incluso hubo uso de realidad aumentada con el app del juego. Como otros Unlock, hay acertijos fáciles de resolver, y otros complicados. Al final se te evalúa con estrellas, sacamos 4 de 5.

This time we played a very fun mission, where it simulates playing an arcade of the 80's, very colorful and there was even use of augmented reality with the app of the game. Like other Unlock, there are easy to solve puzzles, and other complicated ones. At the end you are evaluated with stars, we got 4 out of 5.

ANACHRONY

Juego euro con miniaturas. Es un worker placement, manejamos diversos trabajadores que tienen diversos oficios, estos usarán exotrajes para obtener más trabajadores, materiales, agua, investigación y otros. Y si eso ya podría ser complicado, sumale que puedes viajar en el tiempo para beneficiarte del futuro, pero luego deberás pagar las deudas.

Euro game with miniatures. It is a worker placement, we manage different workers who have different jobs, these will use exo-suits to get more workers, materials, water, research and others. And if that could already be complicated, add that you can travel in time to benefit from the future, but then you must pay the debts.

El contexto del juego sitúa a los jugadores en un futuro distópico en donde la humanidad se enfrenta a la caída de un meteorito, como jugadores buscamos evacuar con otros objetivos adicionales. Siendo sincero, esta primera partida me ha resultado complicada, ya que si bien tiene un diseño bonito, puede ser un tanto confuso, por la cantidad de simbología.

The context of the game places players in a dystopian future where humanity is facing the fall of a meteorite, as players we seek to evacuate with other additional objectives. To be honest, this first game has been complicated for me, because although it has a nice design, it can be a bit confusing, due to the amount of symbology.

Espero una 2da partida para poder evaluar mejor este juego.

I'm waiting for a second game to be able to evaluate this game better.

The Isle of Cats

Un juego con una temática y diseño gracioso. Como jugadores intentamos salvar a diversos gatos en unos barcos. Estos gatos tienen formas peculiares, así que habrá que planear cómo encajarlos; a su vez, con cartas deberemos obtener otras misiones, tesoros y otras acciones, para aumentar nuestros puntos de victoria para el final del juego.

A game with a funny theme and design. As players we try to save several cats on boats. These cats have peculiar shapes, so we will have to plan how to fit them; at the same time, with cards we will have to obtain other missions, treasures and other actions, to increase our victory points for the end of the game.

Es un juego que si bien parece simple a primera vista, guarda bastante estrategia. En esta primera partida, me fue mal; sin embargo, creo ya entenderla mejor para futuras sesiones.

It is a game that although it seems simple at first sight, it keeps a lot of strategy. In this first game, it went badly; however, I think I already understand it better for future sessions.
