Sesión de juegos de mesa #3 // Board games session #3

Una nueva sesión de juegos de mesa, donde pude jugar un juego que no había probado antes, Brass. A su vez, hicimos otra misión de Unlock y jugamos Concordia, un euro entretenido. Detallo:

A new session of board games, where I was able to play a game I had not tried before, Brass. Also, we did another Unlock mission and played Concordia, an entertaining euro. I detail:

Brass: Birmingham

Un euro del diseñador Martin Wallace. Nos pone en el papel de barones de una revolución industrial incipiente, donde manejaremos carbón, acero, barriles de cerveza, etc. En el juego partimos con cartas que nos indican un tipo de material o una localización, con esas cartas y con las que adquiramos en el juego iremos construyendo nuestro imperio, en ciudades de Inglaterra.

A euro by designer Martin Wallace. It puts us in the role of barons of an incipient industrial revolution, where we will handle coal, steel, barrels of beer, etc. In the game we start with cards that indicate a type of material or a location, with these cards and with those that we acquire in the game we will build our empire, in cities of England.

El juego tiene bastantes restricciones para las diversas acciones, especialmente las de construcción o producción, obligando a pensar mucho cada turno, generando un poco(o bastante) de AP. En general, es un juego que adorarán los fanáticos de los euros, pero a otros tal vez les resulte muy pesado. En nuestro grupo funcionó, pero sí hubo muchos momentos donde un turno tomaba más tiempo de lo normal.

The game has many restrictions for the various actions, especially those of construction or production, forcing you to think a lot each turn, generating a little (or quite a lot) of AP. Overall, it's a game that Euro fans will love, but others may find it too heavy. In our group it worked, but there were many times when a turn took longer than normal.

El diseño y despliegue del juego es uno de sus puntos buenos, hay mucho detalle. Por mi parte espero probarlo de nuevo.

The design and layout of the game is one of its good points, there is a lot of detail. I look forward to trying it again.

Unlock! Timeless Adventures

En esta ocasión hicimos una aventura que tomaba un circo como escenario. Durante la partida se iban revelando las diferentes atracciones del show, obviamente repleta de pequeños acertijos, para ir revelando más y más cartas.

This time we did an adventure that took a circus as a scenario. During the game the different attractions of the show were revealed, obviously full of little riddles, to reveal more and more cards.

Ya me ha convencido mucho este tipo de juegos de escape, son entretenidos y hay algunos misterios con una dificultad elevada, generando un desafío interesante.

I am already very much convinced by this type of escape games, they are entertaining and there are some mysteries with a high difficulty, generating an interesting challenge.

Concordia

Un juego que se desarrolla en la antigua Roma, donde por un momento de concordia, el comercio floreció. Nosotros interpretamos el papel de comerciantes que partiendo desde Roma, iremos expandiendo nuestro alcance, generando diversos productos y buscando obtener muchos sestercios(moneda del juego) con su venta. Al final la puntuación dependerá de cómo nos vaya en diversos apartados, como en cuantas ciudades tienes un puesto o cuantos tipos de recursos produces.

A game set in ancient Rome, where for a moment of concord, trade flourished. We play the role of merchants that starting from Rome, we will expand our reach, generating various products and seeking to obtain many sestertius (game currency) with their sale. In the end the score will depend on how we do in various sections, such as how many cities you have a post or how many types of resources you produce.

Es un euro a mi parecer ligero a comparación de la media, y sin embargo divertido. En esta ocasión, lo jugamos con una expansión que añadía un nuevo recurso, peces. Este juego normalmente se me da bien, así que obtuve una victoria.

It is a light euro in my opinion compared to the average, and yet fun. On this occasion, we played it with an expansion that added a new resource, fish. This game is usually good for me, so I got a win.
