Un pequeño evento como el aleteo de una mariposa puede traer consecuencias futuras tan grandes que incluso pueden cambiar vidas enteras. Esa idea la agarra este film y crea una historia interesante e intrigante. La película fue estrenada el 2004, su director fue Eric Bress. Teniendo como actor principal a un joven Ashton Kutcher.

Evan Treborn es un niño con un problema raro. Cada cierto tiempo se despierta sin recordar el evento inmediato anterior; esto junto a diversos problemas con sus familiares y amigos, le hará tener una niñez extraña. Luego en la juventud, ya en la universidad, se comenzará a dar cuenta que esos sucesos raros que le pasaban, estaban ligados a una capacidad que él tiene, poder volver al pasado por unos instantes y cambiarlo.

Evan Treborn is a boy with a rare problem. Every so often he wakes up without remembering the immediate previous event; this along with various problems with family and friends, will make him have a strange childhood. Then in his youth, already in college, he will begin to realize that these strange events that happened to him, were linked to an ability he has, to be able to return to the past for a few moments and change it.

Con esa premisa, lo que se obtiene es una cinta entretenida por ver, preguntándote cómo el protagonista puede arreglar las cosas; a su vez, te das cuenta que incluso si uno pudiera cambiar ciertas cosas del pasado, no nos daría “un final feliz”, aun con la mejor de las intenciones.

With that premise, what you get is an entertaining film to watch, wondering how the protagonist can fix things; at the same time, you realize that even if one could change certain things in the past, it would not give us "a happy ending", even with the best of intentions.

El punto positivo de la película es sin duda la trama, que si te atrapa, querrás ver el desenlace si o si. Los demás aspectos técnicos ya comienzan a notar los años de publicada la película, especialmente los efectos especiales, ya desfasados. En la actuación creo que los actores adultos hacen bien su papel, pero en el caso de los niños creo que se pudo hacer un mejor trabajo, hay escenas que directamente cuesta creerlas, como la escena del cine.

The positive point of the film is undoubtedly the plot, which if it grabs you, you will want to see the denouement if or if not. The other technical aspects of the film are already beginning to show the years since its release, especially the special effects, which are already outdated. In the acting I think the adult actors play their role well, but in the case of children I think they could have done a better job, there are scenes that are hard to believe, such as the movie theater scene.

A pesar de sus puntos bajos, es un título que me ha convencido y gustado, al punto que no vería mal ver la versión del director(con un nuevo final). Lo recomiendo a aquel que le gusten las historias de suspenso e intrigantes.
