avatar

Happy new week and welcome to my blog @prechidi☺️

It's the 80th edition of the @ladiesofhive community contest.

With the arrival of the global pandemic, online commerce has grown into something routine. Do you like shopping online? Have you had a bad purchase, the product you ordered did not arrive on time, or was not what was expected? Tell us about your experience or if you still don't buy online, tell us the reason.

It is true, that online shopping is stress free where you just order the product and it arrives at your door step but to me i still prefer going out to buy my products.

Many Online vendors seems to post the best of their products online whereas on delivery, the product do not seem to be exact of what they posted online.
What we ordered will be different from what you see, therefore causing insatification to the customer.

I can also decide to choose any product i find better in the market.
Imagine getting a shoe from a store, i get to experience the product i.e check if it is my size before buying.

Offline store, no need for waiting for delivery.
You would agree with me that, when buying a product from an online store, it can take 2-3 days or more, if there is any delay and depending on the distance of the seller to get to the buyer.

I would love @azuconfidence, @prechyrukky @luba555 to join in this contest.
You can know more about the contest here

Thank you for reading
I would appreciate your ideas in the comment session, reblog too

I understand what you mean, and there's no possibility of having what I order Vs what I got offline.

I kind of get what you said.
It's just really different when you go to the store and try it yourself.
Although some online shopping sites have an option to try it for a week and return what you don't need, still it would really take time.

And in the market you can haggle!

But on the other side, online shopping has been convenient for some. :)

Yeah, you may return it to get another, but don't you think all these are waste of time??
Just imagine you want to use the product immediately
Online shopping is good , no doubt

@prechidi It is really a waste of time.. If I'm in a hurry, I also go for offline shopping. 😅 And the shops have a good full body mirror so it's way better than at home hahaha

With all these issues facing online shopping, I only buy from vendors I can trust. Ones that someone I know has confirmed good purchasing experience from. Also, as regards products looking smaller than they looked in the pictures, I’m always thorough when going through the details of the product such as the size. Taking some precautions like this will go a long way in avoiding dissatisfaction with the product when it arrives.

When it comes to size, picture may look bigger on phone than when you see then, have been there before
The best for me is going to buy it tho

Yeah, that happens — I can’t deny it. But when there’s a description of the product, if you carefully check the size, you could avoid disappointments. For example, shopping for necklaces on online shopping stores, I usually see the length measurement so I try to check carefully before I purchase ‘cause sometimes I want something close to neck and other times I don’t mind something lower.

I think both are cool. If you don't like stress, you sit back and shop online. But if you have time and energy, offline is good.

I have Online grocery shopping service available for me in my area but I rely on it only if I absolutely need to. Otherwise, I'd prefer to do that myself. There are certain goods that I order Online if I can't source them locally from retailers with good service reputation.
It's getting tougher to save any cash.

Thanks for Sharing @prechidi

The both are good no doubt, but it's nice you go to buy them yourself,
True you can't some goods, then you have to order them.
