Happy Tuesday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. I am definitely grateful for this day💯. It's been another ordinary day and it's now time to wrap things up and get ready for bed 💤. As always thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how my stepping went and also share some of the day's trending stories. Come on 💨.
So as usual I had two major walking sessions. Starting off with the fast paced morning session that was quite enjoyable in the fresh morning breeze🍃. Then I was back indoors for the little daily household chores. Later in the afternoon I stopped by the shopping centre for some cooking groceries. I squeezed my nap into the rest of the afternoon. Then the final evening walk happened before I got back home safe and sound calling it a day. Of course in between I was watching the news including crypto , lets get into that next.
Trending locally, the usual political shenanigans😹 kept going. UK royals king 👑 Charles and queen Camilla are on a four day visit of Kenya. Those royals love the beautiful Kenyan highlands and the wonderful weather all year round😹.
Globally, Gaza trending as at least 100 Palestinians were killed and hundreds injured in an Israeli attack at a refugee camp😭.
Six big bombs hit the Jabaliya refugee camp catching people unexpectedly🙀. A desperate situation followed as people used bare hands to dig out survivors and bodies of the dead😿.
Thousands of Palestinians demonstrated in Ramallah following that attack.
Some good news as Egyptian authorities have agreed to open the Rafa crossing and let some injured Palestinians get into Egypt for treatment. This as hospitals in Gaza are overwhelmed and run out of supplies😿.
Hamas have agreed to set free a number of captives in the coming days, including the sick, elderly and people with foreign passports.
Meanwhile the Israeli ground invasion expanded as they used bulldozers and tanks as they made in roads🙀.
Also trending, Australia pulled out of the 2034 world cup bid, leaving Saudi Arabia as the only remaining candidate, so get ready for a Saudi world cup that 2034😹.
Finally, 15 years ago today, the bitcoin white paper was released by Satoshi Nakamoto🎊🎉. A mere 9 pages that reshaped the financial world. Bitcoin here to free the masses from tyranny of fiat and central banks💯.
