Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Thursday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's been another wonderful day and as midnight approaches, am raring to go with my stepping activities and also some of the trending stories from the media streets. As always thank you for stopping by and let's get going 💨.
So just like yesterday I kicked off the day with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. It was a beautiful sunny 🌞 morning with a splendid breeze 🍃.
Later I was back indoors where I showered 🚿 and rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Today was international day of the African child which aims at eliminating harmful practices affecting children 💯.
Globally Ukraine still trending, shelling in the Donbas region. The leaders of France, Germany Romania and italy stopped by in Kyiv to show support for president Zelensky 👏. Promising arms and Ukraine's EU membership. Elsewhere across the pond in the US, the Jan 6th hearing were told how Donald Trump kept pressuring Pence to reject votes 😱. When he followed the constitution,Trump later tweeted calling him a wimp 😹.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still bleeding, now down to 20k. Let's keep watching out for the bottom. I heard someone saying, investing in bitcoin now is like buying expensive real estate at a throwaway price.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries and then headed back home 🏡. Next came the usual nap 💤, dreaming off until early evening when I got up and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news..
Trending in Tunisia, a workers strike brought the country to near standstill 😱.
Elsewhere in Iraq, Shia leader Al Sadr, withdrew from political process saying he will not participate in next elections with corrupt people 💯. In Dhaka, Bangladesh, huge anti India protests following last week's insults on Islam😱.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃. I finally made it back home 🏡 safe and sound as darkness fell.
