Aveiro salt pans - Portugal

Today I come with photographs of the Salinas in the city of Aveiro de Portugal.

This place has the special conditions, where salt is produced by the seawater evaporation system, this is called "Salinas", "Marinhas de Sal" or just "Marinhas".
This is a popular activity and is considered one of the oldest in the city of Aveiro, thus occupying the "Marnotos" practically all year round.

The salt pans are part of a more or less complex set of ditches, channels, tanks and settling and evaporation ponds separated by dikes, slopes and marachas colonized by the typical vegetation of the marshes.

In this place it is common to see giant salt cones.
