Desde la primera vez que la escuche me sedujo su dulce voz, su personalidad, la sencillez de su acompañamiento con su instrumento, no necesito de nada más para expresar lo que sentía. Esta canción la escucho con mucha frecuencia, sobre todo cuando mi alma está un poco debilitada por tantas cosas de la vida a las que permito que me afecten. Ella me deleita, me envía energías sanadoras. Es una conexión de sus vibraciones con las energías internas. Me imagino el mar que me arrulla, las olas que me mecen y las nubes que me dan un colchón muy suave donde descansar. Donde Todo esta bién en mi mundo.

Aun cuando la iniciativa nos dice que escojamos solo una cancion, quisiera que escucharan esta otra, especialmente las mujeres, es una manera diferente de levantarnos el ánimo, de decirnos que somos únicas y especiales, que la vida es maravillosa y tenemos que vivirla de la mejor manera, aprendiendo y agradeciendo cada segundo, porque somos seres únicos y especiales.

I invite my friends @katleya, @actioncats and @maxjulisgf to write in this beautiful opportunity to express ourselves with music.

Music has always been with me. At every moment of my life, I have had it close to me, I have not turned away from it even in the most complicated circumstances. When I listen to music in its different variations or styles there are two things that attract me: the lyrics of the song and the person who sings it and by this I mean his voice, the intonation, the emotion he expresses when interpreting a melody.

Music is food for my soul and is an accomplice of my emotions, because I have sought in it what I have lost at a certain moment or it has helped me to reaffirm what I feel. And its energy connects with mine, when we are vibrating at the same level and if not, it takes me to the level that I want, that I need at that moment. It is a balm that makes me feel that I am well, that everything happens, that there is no problem without solution. That other people feel the same as I do.

Singing is a way of expressing feelings through music. Years ago when I was studying at the university, I started the choral activity and even when at certain moments of life I had to stop it, I have taken it up again about five years ago and I love to sing with other people. It is a wonderful activity to be at peace, without thinking about anything other than music and that is excellent to maintain balance. It is necessary to quiet the thoughts that overwhelm us and when we sing or listen to music we free ourselves from them. Besides that when we sing we are exercising our breathing, we move every muscle in our face, and if we also accompany the singing with dancing, then the benefit is not only for the soul but also for our body and both are connected.

When I listen and sing a song that says something that touches my heart, it moves me and I feel a great energy, an empathy towards what it expresses. I was looking for a song among so many wonderful creations that I have been able to listen to in all these years of life, in different times in which I have had an inclination and preference for a certain type of music.

Considering that in this initiative where I select modality B, it must be a song that connects with life, with joy, with hope, I selected Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's song - Somewhere over the rainbow. Israel better known as IK was a Hawaiian artist who with his voice and ukulele composed and interpreted with the music of his land fused with reggae and jazz, songs that reach the soul of the listener, that connects with our inner self, that which has the sensitivity to express emotions.

From the first time I heard her I was seduced by her sweet voice, her personality, the simplicity of her accompaniment with her instrument, I didn't need anything else to express what I felt. I listen to this song very often, especially when my soul is a little weakened by so many things in life that I allow to affect me. She delights me, she sends me healing energies. It is a connection of her vibrations with the inner energies. I imagine the sea lulling me to sleep, the waves rocking me and the clouds giving me a very soft mattress to rest on.

All is well in my world*.

Even when the initiative tells us to choose only one song, I would like you to listen to this one, especially women, it is a different way to lift our spirits, to tell us that we are unique and special, that life is wonderful and we have to live it in the best way, learning and being grateful for every second.
