Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog en esta oportunidad participando en el contra-reloj de este día, con el tema: Reinas de la Historia.

El antiguo Egipto representa una tierra de misterios, de la vida de un pueblo guiada por sus reyes, los faraones y estos a su vez por sus múltiples dioses. Sabemos de esta cultura a través de las creaciones de los artistas y los escritos dejados a la posteridad, sus maravillosas edificaciones y su culto a la muerte.
FuenteNefertiti, una reina, una mujer que desde muy joven asumió responsabilidades de liderazgo y de poder, en una cultura donde ella y su esposo el faraón Amenhotep III, conocido también como Akenatón, crearon reformas y entre estas la de adorar a un solo dios Atón, una deidad solar, en contraposición del politeísmo que caracterizaba la religión imperante en esa época, Tenían el poder absoluto, pero es difícil hacerse una idea de la personalidad de esta mujer que vivió hace 3500 años.

Una mujer joven, que fue madre, que acompaño a su esposo en todas las reformas que realizó, que sufrió por la muerte de varias de sus hijas. Los detalles de su vida desaparecen de la historia después de la muerte de Akhenatón, algunos historiadores sugieren que ella continuó gobernando bajo el nombre de Smenkhkare hasta que su hijastro Tutankhamón tuviera suficiente edad para asumir el trono.
Definitivamente una mujer que ejerció funciones más allá de las convencionales para la esposa de un faraón y que no se sabe aún, qué pasó con ella, cuál fue su destino final. Sin embargo, la curiosidad del hombre, su deseo de conocer más allá del tiempo, lo lleva a continuar indagando sobre la vida de Nefertiti, sin duda el descubrimiento del busto que la hecho famosa y admirada ha contribuido enormemente a este deseo de saber la verdad.
En la historia de esta antigua cultura egipcia, son varios los faraones que gobernaron, no obstante el nombre de Nefertiti, es recordado inclusive más aún que el de Akhenatón, su legado y su imagen son difíciles de olvidar.
