"Pontos de Funk" is an audiovisual production project that values Funk as Brazilian electronic music by documenting influences on rhythm from Afro-Brazilian religions to world pop culture.

"Pontos de Funk" é um projeto de produção audiovisual que valoriza o Funk como a música eletrônica brasileira ao documentar as influências no ritmo desde as religiões afro-brasileiras à cultura pop mundial.
Our documentary is coming up at Odysee, Peakd and we have the intention of becoming a Funk magazine.
Nosso documentário este chegando na Odysee, Peakd e temos a inteção de nos tornar uma revista de Funk.
The series brings from the beginning of the production of the beats to interviews with great icons of the Brazilian culture of Funk. Showing its elements as dances and traditions.
A série traz do início da produção das batidas até entrevistas com grandes ícones da cultura brasileira do Funk. Mostrando os seus elementos como danças e tradições.
''Funk Points'' are called so because of the equipment. Where a sample is placed per channel. It's like every channel is a point. Funk started out like this, sampling everything.
''Pontos de Funk'' são chamados assim por causa dos equipamentos. Onde são colocados um sample por cada canal. É como se cada canal fosse um ponto. O Funk começou assim, sampleando tudo.
"Pontos de Funk" is a webseries that emerged from the search of the director, João Vunje, by the analogies between the phrases, loops and beats of Carioca funk with afro-Brazilian religious sincretism and world pop culture.
“Pontos de Funk” é uma websérie que surgiu da busca do diretor, João Vunje, pelas analogias entre as frases, loops e batidas do funk carioca com o sincretismo religioso afro-brasileiro e a cultura pop mundial.

OUR GOALS:
- Unravel the story behind each funk montage, where the samplers came from;
- Identify the identity behind each Funk Point;
- Authenticate carioca funk as the most creative electronic music in the Americas;
- Analyze the analogies between Carioca funk, Afro-religious Brazilian sincretism and world pop culture;
- Perceive the influences of old funkeiros for the funkeiros of this generation;
- Contribute to the recognition of Carioca funk as part of the culture of Rio de Janeiro;
- Stimulate the exchange between the generations of this same culture;
- Promote the funk production chain;
- Deconstruct prejudices related to Funk and favela culture.
NOSSOS OBJETIVOS:
- Destrinchar a história que existe por trás de cada montagem de funk, de onde vieram os samplers;
- Identificar a identidade por trás de cada Ponto de Funk;
- Autenticar o funk carioca como a mais criativa música eletrônica das Américas;
- Analisar as analogias entre o funk carioca, o sincretismo brasileiro afro-religioso e a cultura pop mundial;
- Perceber as influências de funkeiros antigos para os funkeiros dessa geração;
- Contribuir com o reconhecimento do funk carioca como parte da cultura do Rio de Janeiro;
- Estimular o intercâmbio entre as gerações desta mesma cultura;
- Fomentar a cadeia produtiva do Funk;
- Desconstruir preconceitos relacionados ao Funk e à cultura da favela.
