Greetings friends SketchBook artists I share with you a little bit of my drawing. Charly is my mother-in-law's Siamese cat, he is 6 years old and has a very serious personality and disinterested in everything except food.
He watches us pass by from his pedestal on top of the refrigerator with a serious face and narrowed eyes, showing that he is the master of the house.

He never plays, it is not in his personality to run to chase a toy, he only uses his agility to hunt and defend his territory from other cats.

Nobody dares to caress his fluffy fur, with his bad mood, he would scratch us before he even touches it.

Saludos amigos artistas de SketchBook comparto con ustedes un poco de mi dibujo. Charly es el gato siamés de mi suegra, tiene 6 años y una personalidad muy seria y desinteresada por todo, excepto por la comida.
Nos mira pasar desde su pedestal, arriba del refrigerador, con cara sería y los ojos entrecerrados, demostrando que es el dueño de la casa.

I wanted to draw him with his characteristic chubby, serious and grumpy face, so I started by giving the light blue color to his eyes, adding some shadows with gray and white to illuminate.

Quise dibujarlo con su característica cara gordita, seria y malhumorada, así que comencé por darle el color azul claro a sus ojos, añadiendo un poco de sombras con gris y blanco para iluminar.

I gently marked with black creon the direction the hair should have in the center of the face to guide me, outlining a bit her eyes and nose.

Marque con creyon negro suavemente la dirección que debía tener el pelo en el centro de la cara para guiarme, delineando un poco sus ojos y su nariz.

I added shading to the central part of the face with brown and black, blurring little by little from the center with dark brown to light beige around the head, making short lines to make the fur effect of her face.

Añadí sombreado a la parte central de la cara con color marrón y negro, difuminando poco a poco desde el centro con marrón oscuro a beige claro alrededor de la cabeza, haciendo líneas cortas para hacer el efecto de pelaje de su cara.

I finished my drawing adding some fur also in the neck part with light beige and white with some dark brown shadows, I put a strong purple background to highlight.

Termine mi dibujo añadiendo un poco de pelaje tambien en la parte del cuello con color beige claro y blanco con algunas sombras en marrón oscuro, le coloque un fondo morado fuerte para resaltar.
