The Witness : A Freewrite

The dead cannot even say anything. Whatever is being said on the earth, he lives with the living. But those who are dead cannot even drop any argument or argue with you.

Maybe you are telling the truth or a lie. That is why in this part of the world they used to say that whoever wants to tell a lie will say his witness is in heaven.
I have witnessed when people tell a lie and they hang it on the dead. I have seen scenarios upon and over and over again where instead of telling the truth, they rarely say someone that died that did so and so thing and you cannot even go to the grave or go to his face to go and ask the dead.

So you are left with no choice. Done to come up with something great, Come up with something nice at the end of the day, or maybe be tall and just believe it for the sake of whatever it is. That is how legends and myths are myths. So many times around people like in Hawthorne, Merlin and the likes, no one actually knew if they were alive.

When we created the story and the legend and they are dead, they can't come back to the land of the living to say, hey, you are lying. I didn't do all those things or all those King Arthur stories that brought out a sword from a stone. Assuming he's alive, we can wake him up and tell him and he can deny it. So that's not true. They created this story to give me this kind of legendary power. Which I don't have.
