HiveBloPoMo struggles

We're almost halfway in and I am struggling a little!

Sunrise barn Playfulfoodie

What a difference a few days can make. A couple of days ago, I was very well on my way in the daily posting in november challenge. I even wrote a few pieces in advance for the slow days. I've been leaning a little on some hashtags, like #throwbackthursday and #fashionfriday and it was going really well.

Then, a lack of inspiration hit and I know where it comes from. It's from exhaustion from my stupid period. My head is foggy and even reading through my 'Post ideas' list isn't sparking the energy to start writing about any kind of subject. I have only one 'bonus post' left for a really bad day, because I needed my gaming bonus post for yesterday!

I hope this brain fog will lift in a day or two, because I don't want to throw in the towel. I do like to challenge myself in this. But for today, I'm just sharing my struggles, because I really can't think of anything else.

How about you, have you had some tricky days for your #HiveBloPoMo yet?

I am having one today, right now, that's why I was drawn to your post.

I feel empty with nothing to share. My head keeps saying, "but babe, you have a lot to share, write something". I am a perfection freak, and I hate sharing things that doesn't seem to hold weight

I am struggling with what to write today too. I am only having hopes that all isn't lost, since, it's only 8:00 am in the morning, and the day isn't over yet.

I hope that before 22:00 midnight, a light will shine through, and it will appear on my blog.

Sad to hear you're having the same struggle today! Maybe write something about that? Or how you normally get your inspiration? Or something about perfectionism?

I am usually a perfectionist aswell, but try to let that go sometimes when writing blogs, because I also enjoy just writing about my day or thoughts sometimes. It helps me clear my head.

Either way, I wish you good luck and hope you find a topic for today!

(Edited)

I am optimistic I will have something to write today. I am taking conscious steps by stepping out of the house for a bit of air. I am very sure I'll find something in the environment or a discussion with someone to share with everyone here.

I will also try to learn to let go of the perfectionists feat. Hive is teaching me how to do that, and I am a fast learner too.

Thanks for your support ma'am

Yes, I have had plenty of tricky days... today was the closest yet; I realized with very little UTC time to go that I was about to miss it, and got my post out with two minutes to spare...

The actual content has been less of a struggle than the timing of it... I seem to be perpetually "running behind" because the UTC day ends at 16:00 here.

Glad you managed it just in time! Hmm, I don't know when the UTC day ends here 😅

I am just/only guessing, but can be a weather front a possible reason? Are you sensitive to it? Fortunately/luckily it does not affect me, but I heard about some people, who are sensitive to it. I am really just/only guessing. I currently do not have any other ideas about what can cause a "stupid period".

Aah! I didn't realize "stupid period" would be interpreted that way, sorry! I meant my stupid menstrual period 😅 Those are some horribly, tiresome days!

Okay, now I understand. I am not a native English speaker, so there could be misunderstandings in some cases. My mother tongue is Hungarian, which is an Uralic language, while English is Indo-European, so these two languages are very far away from each other, but I am constantly/regularly/continuously trying to improve my English knowledge.

That is very understandable! You've learned something new now 😄
