! We are back again with an edition of Meatless Monday. Last week due to multiple circumstances it was impossible to do the curation, however, today we will include the posts published inside and outside our community these last 14 days, making then a double curation, which will be only today.
As always, I want to take advantage of this publication, to ask all those who make life in our community, to take into account the topics that can be published here, being these:
- Experiences with a vegan diet.
- Ethics of animal agriculture.
- How to grow a kitchen garden for your plant based food.
- The best herbs and spices to have in a vegan kitchen.
- Meat free Mondays - why they're a good idea.
We wanted to emphasize the importance of only using original content. I remind you that we do NOT accept photos or text from third parties, even if they are copyright free. We also remind them of the importance of not including animal products in their recipes, such as butter, eggs, honey, etc., the idea is that they share vegan recipes.
Also, it is important that you use the hashtag #plantbased #vegan. And we invite you to join the voting path, because every day we try to bring a little love to those valuable posts that are on the platform, no matter if they are not about food, it can be any other content, except those topics that oppose veganism.
This week's gastronomic route, which as I already indicated is double, corresponding to the last two weeks, will start with some delicious glass noodles in vegan pineapple sauce, then we will taste a cauliflower rice, continue with some ravioli stuffed with tofu, try a dish that can be exotic, some Aloe vera fillets, and then surprise us with some vegan dumplings. Then we will delight ourselves with a Wholesome Buddha Bowl, and our palate will travel to India with an Indian spiced stuffed bell peppers. Then, we will sweeten ourselves with some sweet cookies without butter, milk or egg; which we will accompany with a Mouse mocaccino. We will also surprise both our eyes and our mouth with a delicious Pepare cake. But our journey does not end there, as we will delight ourselves with a Crispy Tofu that combines very well with a Purpple cabagge salad, and we finish with a Banana and vanilla custard with granola and plum. We start our vegan gastronomic route, let's go for it!
In a beautiful post, with spectacular photos, @dianalee1301
shows us a recipe for glass noodles in a vegan pineapple sauce, which carries a whole world of flavors, textures and colors; a dish worthy of being the protagonist of a meal, which deserves to be known by all. Let's take a look at this excellent recipe!
Cauliflower is a great vegetable, which we can prepare in different ways: Baked, sautéed, in creams, but @eugelys
has found an ideal way to eat it and that is to present it as rice. Undoubtedly a delicious and special recipe, which brings us in a beautiful post, where she shares this dish, which is ideal to vary and enrich our food. Let's take a look at this particular recipe!
No doubt @tsunsica
loves soy. She has presented us with multiple recipes with this noble ingredient; and in this post of ravioli stuffed with tofu in a delicious thyme sauce, it is something exceptional, as she presents us with a tutorial, a very well structured step by step of this dish. Let's get to know this super recipe!
Aloe vera is a wonderful plant. It has so many uses: It is useful to heal many physical ailments, it is a valuable ingredient in beauty treatments, it harmonizes and beautifies our homes and repels certain unwanted animals, among others; but @drhueso
now presents it as a delicious gastronomic alternative, with this exquisite recipe of filets, which is a delight for our palate. Let's get to know this exotic recipe!
There are dishes that I think are great, because I think they are surprises of flavors and textures. One of these dishes are dumplings, those delicious little bags that keep gastronomic treasures hidden inside; and an excellent recipe for Vegan Dumplings has brought us @journeylife
, with a beautiful video and a post with good photos. Let's get to know this amazing recipe!
I've always thought that @lenasveganliving
is the ultimate expression of elegance in the world of veganism. Her written posts and videos are of great beauty, besides being very complete and creative, and this time is no exception, as she has brought to the community a recipe for Wholesome Buddha Bowl, a dish full of flavors, colors and ingredients and very nutritious. Let's take a look at this very complete recipe!
One of the things I most admire about @carolynstahl
(besides her spectacular posts), is the awareness she has regarding the sacredness of food, the fact that she is aware that it should not be thrown away, and that she makes the most of those ingredients that are sometimes dismissed by other people; and precisely this she demonstrates in an excellent recipe for Indian spiced stuffed bell peppers, with which she recalls some moments of her life and takes advantage of some bell peppers she found at a good price. An exquisite dish, with great flavor and forcefulness. Let's see this spicy recipe!
The posts of @marbrym
are characterized by one thing: Their excellence. She usually makes recipes neatly explained, with a detailed step by step and very good complementary information. And this week she has brought us a very useful and delicious recipe, which is for some great cookies, free of butter, milk and egg, some delicious tasty bites that can be very useful for our children's school lunchbox or for a snack. Let's get to know this crunchy recipe!
There are flavors that combine, that marry very well, and this is the case of coffee and chocolate, which form something as delicious and classic as mocacchino. And this has been the inspiration for @chacald.dcymt
to elaborate a 100% vegan recipe using an ingredient that perhaps has been disregarded, although it is a culinary treasure such as cocoa shells. She brings us a wonderful drink that she baptized as Mouse mocaccino. Let's get to know this surprising preparation!
Indonesian cuisine is a whole fabulous world of flavors, ingredients and techniques, and this is demonstrated in the post shared by @aswita
, where she makes Pepare Cake, a traditional recipe based on sweet potato, which is surprisingly colorful and simple. An excellent alternative for a different dessert. Let's get to know this colorful preparation!
And for those who miss some non-vegan gastronomy, @faisalhanafih
shares a recipe for fried tofu, very crunchy, delicious, well spiced, that will surely surprise for its great taste being an ideal substitute for chicken. Let's take a look at this crispy recipe!
And sweet potatoes are again present in this gastronomic route, as @arialvi75
brings us a recipe for a delicious purple cabbage salad, accompanied by steamed sweet potato, a very healthy dish, but also delicious, full of textures and flavors, which will surely be the delight of many. Let's get to know this good recipe!
I think that one of the most delicate but delicious desserts that exist are custards. And @kyleana
has brought us to the community an excellent vegan recipe for a custard in which she mixes banana, granola, coconut milk, vanilla and to make it even better, she adds Creole plum, a recipe that Santiago, her baby, loves. Let's take a look at this delicious recipe!
In this and every curation, we set up one of our users as 5% beneficiary. This time, being a double curation, corresponding to two weeks, I have chosen @tsunsica and @kyleana for the quality of the contents they share with us Hivers.
