Ingredients
300 grams of fresh prawns
50 grams of mushrooms
10 fresh chilies
1 cup lemongrass
1/2 cup galangal
1/2 cup shallots
5 kaffir lime leaves
1 bunch of coriander
2 tomatoes
2 Tom Yum Soup Cubes
2 tablespoons of tom yum seasoning powder
3 tablespoons of Lime juice
2 tablespoons of fish sauce
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 liter of water
Procedure
- Prawns, washed in water, peeled off, tail and head apart, back cut and black veins removed, set aside.
- All vegetables are thoroughly washed, lemongrass and galangal sliced, tomatoes cut into quarters, tear the kaffir lime leaves, shallots peeled and crushed, coriander coarsely sliced, set aside.
- Pour water into the pot, set on the stove, turn on the heat to medium, add tom yum soup cubes, galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves and shallots, wait for it to boil.
- Add mushrooms and tomatoes and eason with sugar, lime juice, fish sauce and tom yum seasoning powder. Wait to boil.
- Add fresh prawns, coriander, wait for boiling again, turn off the stove and serve.
