When I was a child, my mom used to tell me, "the older you get, the faster time goes"...

Now, of course, being at the age I was, this statement only slightly registered. When we are young, we naturally think we have an infinite amount of time in the world & are invincible ...

But as the years race by, I am seeing more truth in my mom's wise words.

2022 was no exception. As it passed in a flash, to say it was a defining year would not be doing it justice.

As every year, it had its ups & downs, bringing hard life lessons to the surface that I really needed to come to terms with, while also showing me ultimate joy I would've never dreamt possible... heck, even the mundane moments were valuable in their own right...

I learned a LOT about myself on a more profound level in 2022; it was a year of great loss, deep love & real healing...

So, as I look towards 2023, I see it as year of Self Empowerment.
If you know me at all, you know that is my mantra:


Empower yourself to empower others.

Ironically, life showed me this in a real way & now this upcoming year will be a time for all of us to break out of self limitations & really go for our dreams...

And, believe me, I have many. I am a "Dreamer" after all. ;)

But in this, it's also a time of balance....working for our goals & dreams (I refuse to call them resolutions since those are only wishes) but also being gentle with ourselves & really doing the inner work, including self care & keeping our cups full...

With that being said, I knew it was time to return to the #Hive blockchain, to reconnect with the community & encourage myself (as well as others possibly) to grow & expand in awareness of the potential we all possess...

Now it's time to roll up our sleeves & get to work...

With that, #HivePUD seemed to be a perfect time to start so here I am powering up a small amount of HIVE I have, to show I am present & support our family here...

Because that's what we all are - family. We are all connected so it's a time to lift each other up & make 2023 the best year yet...

That may sound funny, but whatever helps us grow and evolve into a better version of ourselves can't be all that bad! ;) I do hope that 2023 is an amazing one for you. Absolutely! Even though I experienced deep heartbreak in 2022, it broke my heart open to passion, purpose, mission, and service, and it brought me to this beautiful experience now. So yes, even though it was gut wrench in gut wrenching, I would not trade it either. Thank you so much, and likewise! May it be beautiful beyond words for both of us and all of us! The inner work has always been important, but at the point where we are now, it's critical indeed! It may get bumpy, but the beauty that's coming will make it all worth it!

I am very sorry you had such a deep heartbreak. It is such a tough time to go through & believe me, I understand in my own experience. As you said, though, it does make you stronger (if we allow it) & sometimes it opens a door to something even more beautiful later on. The Universe can be very surprising sometimes. ;)

HIVE is an awesome place to grow, evolve, & meet like minded people from all parts of the world. I have been here almost 5 years & have grown so much; definitely not the same person as I was when I first started. I hope it's just as (or even more) of a wonderful experience for you!
