🥇 Visiting Camp Vught, a WW2 concentration camp! by @haastrecht

"...This camp was the only SS concentration camp outside Nazi Germany during the second world war! The build has started in the year 1942 because the other two concentration camps in the Netherlands, the so called transfer camps, where full and that's why they started building a new camp!"

🥈 Fortress Munot by @plantfuljourney

"The fortress was built to protect the city after Schaffhausen joined the Swiss Confederation. However, it was built using outdated military techniques, and therefore there were valid concerns that it would not withstand potential attacks. It did and it is crowning untouched above the city until today."

🥉 Trekking on a Frozen River in India (Zanskar river) by @himalayanwomb

"I don't know about the rest of the world but the temperature in Ladakh goes from -15 to -50 in winter. In Siachen located in Ladakh, the minimum temperature drops to -50 degrees. This place is also called Mars Planet, it is also called Buddhist land, it is also called dry desert, this one place has many names."
