"After a reasonable 8:5am start from Amsterdam a drive into the countryside to Voorhout, where the 3rd generation run family business of De Tulperij was the first stop. Acres upon acres of tulips in bloom, grown to die, Daan Jansze, our guide and owner of the farm explained to the group that this is a bulb farm, not a flower farm."

"At first, everything looked as always, calm. Empty streets... not even a cat was there to give it some cuddles. Though, a few steps closer to the church and centre some festive details revealed the presence of a celebration or a market."

"When we finally got here the sea was calling me and my excitement cannot be contained. I headed down the beach and found out that instead of sand this beach had pebbles. The water was too cold for a swim during this time."
