🥇 Architecture of the Vltava embankment in Prague by @rsphotos

In today's post, in a few photos, I present the last kilometer of the walk to the last tourist attraction that my friends and I wanted to see in the capital of the Czech Republic. The route of our walk ran south from the Old Town to the New Town, along the Vltava River, along Masarykovo nábř. Street. There is a lot of old architecture in both of these districts, so it was a very visually pleasing walk.

The St. Petersburg Buddhist temple is situated on the embankment of the Grand Nevka River. The central entrance to the courtyard was once on the embankment side, but now that embankment has become a noisy and dusty traffic artery, so a side gate is used instead of the central gate. Through this gate you can enter the temple grounds from a quiet lane. There is an information board for visitors just outside the gate.

🥉 Groźny wypadek na Rysach! // Dangerous accident in Rysy! [PL/ENG] by @matthewbox

I was in the east last year, so this time I decided to catch the sun at a different time. The trail to Rysy is probably the most demanding in terms of fitness in the Polish mountains. We have as much as 1100 m of elevation to overcome, counting from the surface of Morskie Oko. The last section from the Bula near Rysy area is only 500 m of elevation per 1 km of the trail in winter conditions 😊
