🥇 Exploring the island of Kefalonia from beach to beach, Greece by @miljo76

Kefalonia is the largest island in the Ionian, but for sure is one of my favorite Greek islands. I was amazed by the breathtaking landscape, the exotic beaches, and the picturesque fishing villages. It is well known that Greek islands have many beautiful beaches and fabulous sea. Maybe the beaches in Kefalonia were even more beautiful to me because of the steep cliffs just beyond the shore. Quickly you will notice that we’ve spent most of your time on the beaches, but of course we also had the chance to see some other sights.

🥈 Catacombs, Znojmo, Czech Republic by @godfish

A vast labyrinth of about 27 kilometres of underground passageways, cellars and wells from the 14th and 15th century is the largest catacomb complex in central Europe. Yet, most of it was inaccessible for several centuries as the citizens filled up or walled most of the passages among the time and kept only their personal cellars. In the 50’s, increasing traffic and new buildings caused several landslides and the locals were forced to excavate and repair the most damaged parts of the catacombs – they mainly did so by concreating them. Later on, research, conservation and restoration works began. Nowadays, the catacombs are one of the Znojmo tourist highlights.

🥉 An underrated medieval destination on the Baltic Sea, Tallinn, Estonia by @fitlipinasarah

Let me take you to Tallinn again and discover more places! Visiting the Seaplane Harbor is truly an experience of a lifetime. I've been to many museums in my life but most visitors are restricted to touch anything. But NOT in this museum!!! We were able to get inside and explore "LEMBIT" - A mine-laying submarine built for the Republic of Estonia before World War II (Launched in 1936). This submarine is well preserved in this museum and is the oldest submarine still afloat in the world today!
