Our winners today 🍍

🥇 The Hairy Jungle and a Lake, Ambulalacao, The Philippines by @ifarmgirl

Today, we are going to a site called "Ambulalacao" somewhere in Mount Pulag. This place was one of the areas we have been to last week on the V-Day. The husband and I went to explore and on that day, we were able to check off 2 places on our list. It was foggy that morning and it looked like it wasn't going to clear out but we were quite wrong. And so I welcome you to what I would refer to as "The Hairy Jungle!"

🥈 Hiking to the Ruins of the Siria fortress, Romania by @triplug

Many tourists visit the ruins of this fortress especially on weekends, as the access road to the fortress is almost entirely paved. You guessed it, today we will take a trip together to the Fortress of Siria in the commune of Siria, Arad county, it was built on the Fortress Hill, at 496 m altitude, the ruins of the Fortress of Siria dominate the entire region today. The style of the fortress is Romanesque. The fortress remained almost intact until 1784, when it was destroyed by Habsburg troops, today only ruins remain.

🥉 Castle Hegi and its charms, Winterthur, Switzerland by @delishtreats

For today, I have chosen a spot that we visited by a coincidence. How by coincidence you might ask? Well, we were driving around and saw the sign. We followed the sign and there it was! Castle Hegi is located in the city of Winterthur, and I would never expect such a historical gem to be built in that spot. I'm used to visiting castles that are surrounded by forests, on top of hills, or close to some source of water, but this castle is built in the middle of a residential area with neither of those 'prerequisites'.
