Precious Memories At The Chocolate Hills!

Behold Bohol! Bohol, Philippines is one of the premier destinations in my country not to mention that the Chocolate Hills were so captivating when my son and I reached the view deck where the verdant green hills could be seen.

The picturesque landscapes were so amazing especially the moment when my son and I viewed the scenery although it partly rained. We did not have reached the view deck without passing through hundreds of stairs. We were both panting while ascending but it was a wonderful journey as we reached the peak.

So it was not only traveling to a beautiful destination but also creating priceless memories in a day of my life. And, exploring the Chocolate Hills also allowed us both to reconnect with nature and have a memorable bonding with each other on one fine weekend.

My son was so curious about how they were formed and I simply explained to him that it is one of the wonders of the world. And I told him that the hills got their name from their chocolate-like appearance. And we enjoyed the serenity of the place while we were at the view deck.

He was so happy seeing the hills and he was strolling around the deck but I was afraid he might fall so I was together with him all day long to guard him and keep him safe while we were on the top.

Before we go downstairs, we did not leave the place without capturing the moment. It was quite gloomy but after the rain stopped, we had several candid poses at the edge while the amazing Chocolate hills and the spectacular clouds as our background.

We both enjoyed the moment together while being captivated by the natural wonder that we had seen for the very first time. There is more to explore in Bohol and I must say that I love to be back here once more during summer vacation. Here’s to more adventures and indeed, it is more fun in the Philippines!
