Muy buenas noches, ésta es mi primera publicación en ésta comunidad. Les hablaré de mi adorno favorito, el cual también está unido a una tradición navideña que tengo desde hace años: El espíritu de la Navidad.

Good evening, this is my first post in this community. I will tell you about my favorite ornament, which is also linked to a Christmas tradition that I have had for years: The spirit of Christmas.

Cada 21 de Diciembre, he acostumbrado a realizar algún ritual para atraer el espíritu de la Navidad. Para ello acomodo la mesa con frutas, pongo música alegre y abro las puertas para recibirlo. Hace años hice mi propio muñeco representativo del espíritu de la Navidad, comprando las piezas y armándolo, pero ese está en mi casa, la cual queda en otro estado. Ahora que estoy en la casa de mi madre, mi tradición se ha vuelto decorarle la casa y sobre todo, el espíritu de la Navidad.

Every December 21, I have used to perform some ritual to attract the spirit of Christmas. To do this, I arrange the table with fruits, put on happy music and open the doors to receive it. Years ago I made my own doll representative of the spirit of Christmas, buying the pieces and putting it together, but that is in my house, which is in another state. Now that I am at my mother's house, my tradition has become to decorate her house and above all, the spirit of Christmas.

Cada año procuro adornarlo de manera diferente. Ya que como tenemos años con ellos, les hemos agarrado bastante cariño. Por eso son mis adornos navideños favoritos. Representando la abundancia que está por llegar el próximo año, así como los buenos deseos que esperamos que se nos cumplan.

Every year I try to decorate it differently. Since we have been with them for years, we have taken a lot of affection for them. That is why they are my favorite Christmas decorations. Representing the abundance that is to come next year, as well as the good wishes that we hope will be fulfilled.

Éste año le coloqué luces en la base a uno de los Espíritu de la Navidad y los rodeé con piñas y regalos. Aún faltan algunos detallitos, pero quería mostrárselos. Aparte también, decoré el arbolito, el nacimiento y la puerta. Hice un pequeño video en el que les muestro un poco cómo quedó la decoración que realicé para mi madre. Espero que puedan verlo y darme su opinión.

This year I placed lights on the base of one of the Christmas Spirits and surrounded them with pinecones and gifts. There are still some details missing, but I wanted to show you. Besides, I decorated the tree, the nativity scene and the door. I made a small video in which I show you a bit how the decoration I made for my mother turned out.
