PHOTOGRAPHY | One of Buprestidae Family

Hello all friends at enchanting, may you always be healthy and happy... My post today is a beetle that has its own charm. I found this beetle perched on a leaf. And I've never seen this type of beetle before.

Physically this beetle has an elongated body shape and a shimmering color consisting of black, yellow and greenish. In addition, this beetle also has two antennae between its eyes which are slightly flattened at the ends.

From the literature I got, this type of beetle is close to the name of the ornamental beetle or gem beetle, which belongs to the Buprestidae family. This family is the largest family of beetles. And more than 100 types of beetles from this family have been declared extinct source.

Here are some pictures I share with our community, hopefully it's useful...

Thank you for your support...

Best Regard,
@pieasant
