Skill Testing POB Giveaway!!!

avatar

20201027_200039.jpg

This is a simple but fun way I have thought up to increase the distribution of POB tokens. I traded profitably this week and would like to give out some Proof of Brain to show support for others who value sentient conversations.

POB Giveaway

How Do I Get POB?

  1. Comment on this post
  2. Wait for my reply, I will ask you a skill-testing question
  3. Answer Correctly
  4. I will send you POB token(s) after personally reviewing your answer

If you have any questions ask, but I feel this is a straightforward way to increase distribution in a way that complements the human brain. I have 98 POB tokens and might give them all away today, you will have to participate and follow to find out.

The diverse coin distribution is what has given traction to the leading currencies in this space, such as Bitcoin. This can be achieved with a virgin cryptocurrency like POB but we are going to be subject to the influence of the witnesses on hive. Potentially we could fork POB to the first POS social network without the witnesses verifying the TX for us, for a more sovereign interpretation of this experience blogging with microtransactions. I see us as in the Second Life phase of bitcoin here on Proof of Brain. We have discovered how fun the interoperability of the blockchain can be when merged with economic principles.

@rawbe brought up Second Life to me a month or so ago, I have been reflecting on those golden early days of Bitcoin, when I truly had no idea the potential a sovereign currency could have in this world. Without a diverse early adoption for POB, we will see setbacks, and those shortcomings may not be realized in the evaluation of the coin until power-downs begin. We will monitor the POB Power status of our peers here for now, but until then I want to help distribute the POB more.

Second Life is quite the phenomenon. I've heard some speculation about MMOs trending back towards that 'social avatar' style but I guess we'll see how that all turns out

Sounds fun. I'll comment with a skill-test question for you: why are the bull and bear used as symbols for market activity?

The Bull intuitively sees an increase in market price evaluation on a commodity, while a bear intuitively sees a decrease in market price evaluation on a commodity.

I can't say that's wrong! I guess I didn't phrase the question very well. Why are those symbols used used though?

I see what you're asking, that's actually a very good question, you have clearly proven your conscious and I will reward you for that.

Now to answer your question, without using google, I have a faintly formed synapse of something about an ancient Chinese trader who coined the term "Buy Low, Sell high" but I don't actually know the inception of the idiom of the Bull and Bear.

I am going to look it up now.

According to Marriam Webster,

Etymologists point to a proverb warning that it is not wise "to sell the bear's skin before one has caught the bear."

I am from Alberta, Canada, this makes me think of the fur trade. Which would go back to colonialism in early americas.

The South Sea Bubble was the first time this selling was done by groups of people.

Okay, sounds good to me. You just taught me something. Here's what I've always heard: when attacking, the bull strikes in an upward motion, the bear swipes downward. Markets up, markets down. I don't know how true that is, but it makes sense.

What is 2+2?

I will accept your second question.

2+2=4 We can test this and it is true. || + || = 4 = ||||

Roman numerals would be II + II = IV.

That coffee brand is also mentioned in this rapid growth by 2027 report.

I really don't know. But the description sounds good to me. My theory on coffee...if it tastes bad, it's good coffee.

I believe I know who satoshi is, but in his interest, Satoshi is Dead, because bitcoin is more autonomous without a creator.

What is "yield farming"??

Got me there! I'd say it has to do with DeFi. Reaping the rewards for having made a certain amount of coins available for exchange in a liquidity pool, as it can be done on CubFinance. Otherwise any type of farming should be considered that, as even the carrots you harvest constitute a yield.

Making your own closed source key storage system. Do not ever speak of it.

Currently there are many but, judging by the purely security factors, I think I would choose SamoraiWallet, you can do your own research and you will realize that on many of them this is a really safe wallet!

This is fun. I read some very interesting questions and informative ones as well, such as Bear/Bull one.

As you haven't described the category in which the questions can be asked, I am going to ask a question about an issue in @dcitygame, which I am facing after the update/upgrade.

Question: Whenever I tried to open the Market page, it keeps giving the message, "Be Patient", I think, it is 2-3 days now... How much patience does it require? 🙂

No argument there, it must have done so for you. Someone bought one of my card at the very first day of the upgrade, but, unfortunately, it wasn't working for me. It's sorted out now, though, with the help from gerber, some resolution problem at my end.
