The darkness cannot drive out darkness
Only love can complete us
Only kindness can save us

Don't ever let the monsters inside you win
Don't let the demons take hold, it's for your sake
Love is all you need and love is all you need

Kindness will beat down the naysayers with words of approval
Plus empathy, to the point that they're begging for mercy
Choosing this equates to being courageous and hopeful
In an otherwise dark world, let justice be your guide

You cannot live in fear of tomorrow because living there means surrendering today
When you're faced with discomfort
Remember what you want to believe in, not what will dim your light
Choose love to overcome hate

We've been walking in the shadow for so long
There comes a time when you just have to say
"Enough is enough, it's time for me"
And make your choice to find the path that's true.
