Ok I´m back, super busy day yesterday, sorry :) Well, congrats on this post! Impressive job for someone who is actually not a beer fan! :D In fact, I just got back from a supermarket a while ago and I bought some beers too of course (I don´t know if you know but the Czech Republic has by far the highest beer consumption in the world, we have been boasting by this "primacy" for decades :D) and even though Kozel was on a big sale (one 0.5 l bottle for some 0.4 USD, another fun fact: beer is so widespread and cheap here that in many pubs, beer is actually cheaper than water, it´s literally the cheapest thing you can order), I didn´t buy any of them and went for different brands (Rychtář, Bakalář and Krušovice this time). As I told you before, Kozel is really considered mediocre to low quality beer here. I would like to taste those you bought though, I wonder if the Ursus Brewery fully copied the recipe or if they adjusted it to fit the taste of the Romanian beer drinkers :)

Anyway, I´m glad to know that our beer (even though a bad one :D) is popular in your country and it was fun to read this post. Also, thanks for the nice mention, very kind of you ;) Cheers!

I knew Czechs are drinkers, along with Pols, but did not know they lead in beer drinking. It does not surprise me as my dad has been saying the Czech beer is the best. His opinion, not mine :P

I wish I could send you some beer, but the truth is, shipping costs a fortune, like 10 times the value of the beer 😁 but I'm sure you would fine one that would fit your fussy taste 😂

For me this was a lot of fun and my beer taster enjoyed it too. The pizza was heavenly good, so we had only to gain and nothing to lose 💪🍻

Actually, many nations think it´s them who are the biggest beer drinkers in the world (like Germans, Austrians, British, Americans etc.) but nope, we have been dominating this "sport" for decades, possibly even centuries as we have many breweries here that were founded long centuries ago :) I think some Czech people have more beer than blood running through their veins, at least that´s what one of my friends says about himself :D Also, it´s funny that you say my taste is fussy because my friends consider me an absolute "beer barbar" who would drink any beer and it´s actually kind of true :D I mean when I´m back to my hometown and about to hang out with my old friends, they always argue about what pub to go as they all have different beer tastes and preferences while I´m the only one who doesn´t care where we are going because I don´t mind any of them ;) So yeah, even if Kozel was the only option in a pub, I would drink that too, no worries :D Just it´s not my favorite ;)

Glad to know your beer & pizza tasting session was such a success! Cheers! And greetings to your dad! :D
