Landscape Photography: late autumn forest walk in Czech countryside
Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!
I recently managed to visit my Czech hometown for a few days. I´m using the word "managed" intentionally because looking at the current development of the pandemic, I have a bad feeling that it might not be possible (or at least so easy) soon again. But that´s for another story.
Today, I would like to take you on a little forest walk. A beautiful, relaxing, forest-bathing walk that I got to enjoy while visiting my mom in the Czech (Silesian to more specific) countryside. It was just some 2 hours and the weather was constantly changing (which is why some of the photos below are sunny while others are dark and cloudy) but I still enjoyed the walk very much and it´s my pleasure to share some of the pictures that I took there with you today. It will be a random mix of landscapes and natural close ups for the most part but if you are an observant reader, you will probably also notice one "churchscape" shot in the following collection :)
I hope you enjoyed this little forest walk with me. The forest can be found near the tiny Silesian village of Kruzberk in the Moravian - Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. I was there just a couple of days ago. Late autumn is characterized by diminishing colors here in Central Europe as Mother Nature is getting ready for the winter sleep but when the weather is good, being outside can still be very pleasant and relaxing even now...
Congratulations, your post has been added to Pinmapple! 🎉🥳🍍
Did you know you have your own profile map?
And every post has their own map too!
Want to have your post on the map too?
Very beautiful place and photos, like untouched nature.
*I have a bad feeling that it might not be possible (or at least so easy) soon again. *
Do you mean lockdown again? I don't think so. We mentally and the world economy cannot bear any more lockdowns. I think the mood in the world is life goes on for now.
I don´t know what the situation is like in your country but in mine, the daily numbers of new cases are almost identical to those from the last year (yesterday, for example, we had almost 15,000 new cases) and our politicians are already talking about adopting some strict measures again... Despite the 60% vaccination rate. So nope, I am not optimistic... :/
Lets enjoy for a few more moments of this beautiful time of autumn. I just can't get enough of these scenery...
You did very well with your camera, like you always do :)
Thank you very much Andy for your kind words and the community curation :) It was a pleasure to take you on this forest walk. Greetings to Slovenia!
Always a pleasure mate!
Wow! This is wonderful nature view. Tree and leaves are looking so beautiful. This place also so beautiful. Nice photography
Thanks for checking out the photos, I am glad you liked them :)
Wowww. The forest is amazing. I like it very much. I love seeing the irons fall. Its color is beautiful. I wish I could come here once 🥰
Thank you for leaving such a nice comment here, I appreciate it :) But I am not really sure what you mean by the "irons fall" Was that a typo? :D
Great set, looks like a very interesting forest indeed!
Thank you! Yeah, it´s a nice forest, one of my favorite... Small but pretty lush with both coniferous and deciduous trees.
Komentáře některých uživatelů mi připadají, jako by nikdy neviděli les na podzim :-). Asi jsou z míst, kde nic takového nemají.
U kolika fotek sis "promáčel" kolena? Podle mně minimálně u třech :-).
!LUV
<><
@phortun, you've been given LUV from @bucipuci.
Check the LUV in your H-E wallet. (2/5)
:-)
Máš čas do pátečního večera :-)
Tak asi ten západ, byl to přece jen jeden z těch lepších za poslední dobu... Díky ;)
Tvé přání bude splněno :-)
The Czech Autumn looking good man!
Thanks Eric :) By now, the vivid autumn colors are almost gone but you can still have a decent forest bathing session out there ;) Hope you are doing fine in your new home in Merida. We really liked the city.
I'm not living there yet, hopefully by mid 2021 I can move! Still in the city trying to not go crazy.
Thanks amigo :D
Ah, ok :) I guess you meant mid 2022 :) So fingers crossed!
Lol ye, 2022 :P
I mean we all lost a year and half due to stupidity, so I am actually going to enjoy Christmas 2019 in a few days.
I love the autumn colours, and your forest walk has such a lovely array of colours.
Not as vivid colors as a few weeks ago but yeah still some, especially when the sun is out :) Thanks for your visit!
Oh, man! Only if pictures had smell... I remember those forests, camped in them, got lost following those rural roads covered in mud. Loved the pics.
And I remember that you remember! :D Autumn in Europe can be beautiful and enjoyable when it´s not too cold, rainy or foggy (which mostly is :D)
Thanks for your visit buddy! Cheers all the way down to you guys in Brazil!
Forests are beautiful when we don't have to wake up to pee, in the snow, when it's raining \o\o\o\
:DD
How beautiful love the smell of the forest great photos @phortun
Thanks man :) If only photos could transmit the smell, right? :D
Wouldn't that be wonderful to open your computer and get all the refreshing aromas of the forest.
Amazing landscapes! The place where I live is very much similar
Yeah, I noticed in your photos :) Thanks for checking out mine. Have a nice day & greetings to Ukraine! :)
Beautiful time of year there, looks like it will soon be blanketed in snow. Great photos. Any plans to escape the cold this year? I hear people can easily go to Mexico and I know you are comfortable in that country.
Oh yeah, snow can show up anytime now, it was already freezing last night. Not your kind of climate, I know :D We also prefer warm, seaside style winters but here in Europe, traveling is still kind of paralysed... Yeah, Mexico has been open pretty much the whole time but from what we have been hearing, the crime rate has soared during the pandemic over there. For example, between January and September this year, just the little resort town of Tulum saw 65 murders... :/
Stay happy, safe and healthy in Thailand my friend, excellent location to last out these crazy times...
Holy smokes. 65 murders in Tulum. I know crime has spiked in Latin America, but wow, didn't know it was that bad. Yeah, I wouldn't go either, even for warm weather and tacos.....hmmmm second thought..hahahah
Yeah I can't complain, I'm in a good spot here. Warm and no crime. And cheap! hahaha. You know I like that too! lol Good touching base with you buddy. Stay safe and healthy :)
I think the pandemic has only made places that already were dangerous before even more dangerous now. Kind of makes sense though, people are desperate and frustrated... But I know the Asian mentality is different and Thailand in particular must be one of the best places in the world to get stuck in the pandemic times. How is your visa situation btw? I mean what kind of visa are you there on?
Yeah exactly. Anything that has to do with economic hardship has been amplified. I'm sure crime has gone up all over the world, but Mexico already had a problem, now it's on another level.
Yes, Thailand is really a great place to be. I'm set up nicely with a volunteer visa. I get a year for a bit over $1,000 USD.
Awesome :) You are a World Travel Pro for a reason after all haha :) Take care buddy.
Great forest landscapes looks really refreshing.
It was! Refreshing :) Thanks for checking out the pictures man. Greetings to your beautiful Land Down Under!
My pleasure @phortun have a great weekend bro !!
