Golden Hour: enchanting sunset after thunderstorm

Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!

I was very busy last weekend so I had to skip my regular photography series where I share sunset photos with you but today, I am here with another contribution to it and it´s actually quite a special one.

Usually, I pick just one sunset shot for my golden hour post but this time, I decided to feature as many as 3 of them because there is a whole story behind the final shot and the other 2 pictures will help you understand what was going on up in the sky that evening.

Some 10 days ago, when I was in my Czech hometown of Opava, these dark, heavy, sinister clouds started to roll in all of sudden about one hour before the sunset.

Soon after that, a severe thunderstorm swept over our neighborhood (it was very local actually, my friends who live in other parts of the city didn´t get any rain while some others even reported hailstones) but it only lasted a few minutes and then, this beautiful rainbow formed up in the sky. Unfortunately, I only got to see this small part of it...

Both the storm and the rainbow were already gone but for some reason, the heavy clouds forgot to disperse themselves as they were still lingering up there, even when the sunset began. Eventually, Mother Nature conjured up this enchanting scenery in the sky.

I hope you enjoyed this little sunset story. Everything was happening really fast that evening and I probably could have taken more cool shots in different stages of the spectacle but I somehow ended up taking just these 3.
