The final goal from 12023 has been reached: 10k HP achieved!!!

Woohoooooooooo!

Last week I was at 9969.249 HP, so that's a gain of 37.176. It was a slow week, but that's okay because I finally reached my goal! :)

This Year's Goals

are 12k HP on this account and 450 EDS.

Last week I was at 307.08 EDS, and this week I am at 307.27 just from selling some change of second layer tokens in H-E. I don't see any transfer from @eds-vote since the 4th, is that down right now and I just didn't notice? I'd like to increase my delegation there eventually, now that I've reached my 10k goal.

I feel that! All my savings here are just from earnings, and I've had to cash out to pay bills sometimes too. I set goals that, barring disaster, are fairly do-able for me based on the years I've been here. :)

You can set a small goal, like maybe make a wee HBD savings account for emergencies?

I did that before and I have a few alt coins too but there's always this something. I am already focusing on accumulating more than before and I already cut way too many things haha. So, hope this time shall pass soon :)

Very nice to see you reach a great milestone, @phoenixwren - your 4-digit HP (sorry, I am just a dumb engineer and can't help myself ... 😉) is now a 5-digit HP! 🥂🫡

Others would argue, I can imagine, but I think this is prudent and wise. I gather my "dust" value routinely and get it redirected into something more productive. With you, I think EDS is pretty productive!

Archange's invaluable HiveSQL service to our Hive blockchain suffered a catastrophic hack and is down, until further notice. Distribution of EDS, from our eds-hive delegations, is only one example of the ... "collateral damage" ... done to our Hive blockchain, by people like this with nothing better to do with their skills ... 😒👎

I know that accounting will be caught up, at the earliest opportunity. I think increasing your HP delegation is a good move, as I am looking at doing that myself, after a "rethink" of some of my 2024 objectives ...

Oh man I hadn't heard about the hack! Dang, all these people with skills I can't even imagine, they could be using that to help people instead of hurt them. I always wonder.

Yep, pure evil, from my point of view, but ... Not much you and I can do about it. It is sad that someone with the skillset of Archange still suffered such a catastrophic setback, with back-ups, etc. all failing ... Leaves open the question of who / what was behind this? I have a family member very highly placed in online security at a Fortune 500 firm. As much as they are free to share, they talk about "state-level" teams and the damage they are wreaking ...

I see other people have explained the issue with @eds-vote, but you can always leave a comment on the weekly post if you don't receive tokens as expected. Sometimes there are bugs that we just don't know about until someone raises a query.
