GPUs, Crabs, Boats, Empty Beach... - My Actifit Report Card: September 15 2021
Hi Actifitters!
I have no idea why I thought that it will be an easy day today... Maybe because I have prepared posts for today and done most of the stuff the previous day, but there is always something "more"... I did expect the GPU's arrival, but other stuff, I didn't...
So, as I said, the cards had to arrive today, so I have rushed to finish my "HIVE things" in the morning... As it was the last day of the season in the Splinterlands and only a few hours until the end, I had to do my daily quest ASAP... Luckily, I have done it in time, and I have recorded the Season rewards opening video too! And what an opening it was! I have pulled out Legendary gold foiled card!
In the afternoon, in the middle of my siesta, the cards have arrived... So, I jumped on installing and configuring them... As always, some problem was waiting behind the corner... This time, one of the PCI-e risers was broken, but it wasn't that obvious so it took me some time to find the problem... I have bought a couple of spare risers, so I have changed it for another and voila, everything worked! Setting up fans, CPU, and mem. clocks and all works like a charm... No rejected shares, stable hash, and not that bad power consumption as I expected!
It was all day cloudy, but it was irrelevant for me as I haven't got time to go for a walk... Finally, after 7 PM I got out for my daily walk... As soon as I got out on the street, it started to rain... lol... Again, luckily, it was just a light rain that stopped after a couple of minutes, so I went to the neighbor's town port and back... The day wasn't over as I had more stuff to do later in the night and my plan of going earlier to bed is failed again...
