Recuerdo cuando todos los días viajaba desde Soledad a Ciudad Bolívar a estudiar en el Liceo, éramos un grupo de estudiantes que viajábamos todos los días de lunes a viernes y a la hora exacta, el bus pasaba a las 12 en punto por nuestra parada, porque entrabamos a clase a la 12 y 45 p.m. cuando faltaba un alumno, el chófer del autobuses como eran un señor muy servicial el esperaba 5 minutos en la parada de Luis Rodríguez, es una esquina que la llamamos así, en la tarde cuando salíamos de clase pasábamos también en el mismo bus, ya el señor nos conocía y sabía dónde vivíamos, todo era tan chévere y bonito.

También me hace recordar cuando empecé a trabajar en Sido, empresa Básica del Estado, situada en Ciudad Guayaba, yo vivía en Soledad y viajaba todos los días en Bus, era la única mujer que viajaba, en el bus.

El bus pasaba a las 4 y 45 por la parada todos los días y yo lo esperaba con varios trabajadores, el bus recorría el pueblo de Soledad cubriendo la ruta, luego iba a Ciudad Bolívar, también cubriendo la ruta buscando trabajadores, en el bus se montaban varias personas que no eran de la empresa igual, los choferes y trabajadores lo dejaban montar, estas personas trabajaban en otras empresas.

Los buses de regreso salían a las 3 de la tarde cuando salían los trabajadores que cubrían guardia, yo salía siempre a las 5 de la tarde porque era personal administrativo, el bus me dejaba en el Paseo Orinoco y después yo agarraba el bus para Soledad, porque a esa hora no pasaba el bus, sino el de las 3 de la tarde, así viaje por muchos años, hasta que decidí mudarme a unos de los tráileres de mapanares.
