MY 200 BIRDS OF 2WEEKS NOW CONSUME 25KG OF FEED WITHIN 24HOURS // LIFE OF A LIVESTOCK FARMER.

My birds are exactly 16 days today. Day before yesterday in my busy schedule I managed to vaccinate for gumboro vaccine. Ever since that day,a lot of things have changed about these my birds. Their rate of feeding has really increased to a point I couldn't explain. I had to revisit my financial budget I have laid down to review my calculations if there's any mistake.

Normally,this isn't the first time I am rearing 200 birds, and according to the normal calculation. Before 200 birds can start finishing 25kg of feed in a day should be when they clock exactly 4 weeks or a day after 4 weeks but now the rate at which they consume feed is so alarming. Yesterday I was wondering if someone has been having access to my poultry farm that is taking the feed away. Because of the way they consume,I was forced to start using the biggest feeders for them.

Though I have no regrets with the way they consume because I am seeing the results in their growth and weight.
