When I want to play something new, Steam surprises me with its offers and Indies games. This time it surprised me with Darkwood, an indie horror game, which I honestly didn't think it would surprise me too much, but it did from the first minutes.

I don't want to say too much about the game as I've only finished the prologue, in fact, all this gameplay is just the prologue. I ended up shitting my pants and with a negative feeling, which is a very good thing in this style of game. Its dark and sinister atmosphere along with its incredible sound and ambiance, make the walkthrough a complete nightmare. Although I only got a couple of "screamers", that in itself is not what disturbed me, the music did.

Visually it's a very similar game to some others I've played, I don't remember the names right now, but I've played games with a similar style, though not horror. I hope you can enjoy the prologue and my gameplay, I would really appreciate it if you could give me feedback on the sound, the quality of the video I compressed quite a bit to be able to upload it. Let me know if you would prefer me to have more video quality so I can compress the video less, your words would motivate me more to keep uploading these gameplays.

I have only played the prologue and I can say that it is a game that seems totally worth it. I only spent $1 on it, I even think less. So if you are on a tight budget and want to play something new and interesting, this game is for you. I'll do a review later, if I manage to finish it(I'm afraid).

The interaction with objects is simple and straightforward, the fighting mechanics are simple too, the interaction with things is simple too, although I noticed that you have to get pretty close to things to know if you can actually interact with them or not. That's not a problem, you can almost interact with the most obvious thing in sight.

The sound is awesome, seriously. I haven't listened to something so good in a while, my mind gets lost in the noises and the tension can be felt, and the game doesn't have ultra realistic graphics, visually it's a simple game, although amazing. Soon I will come with the next chapter of this game, well, actually it would be the first chapter since I just finished the prologue. Cya my boomers!

Cuando quiero jugar algo nuevo, Steam me sorprende con sus ofertas y sus juegos Indies. Esta vez me sorprendió con Darkwood, un juego de terror indie, el cual sinceramente no creí que me sorprendiera demasiado, pero lo hizo desde los primeros minutos.

No quiero creo decir mucho del juego ya que solo he finalizado el prólogo, de hecho, todo este gameplay es solo el prólogo. Terminé cagado en los pantalones y con un sentimiento negativo, cosa que es muy buena en este estilo de juego. Su atmosfera oscura y siniestra junto a su increíble sonido y ambientación, hacen del recorrido una completa pesadilla. A pesar de que solo recibí un par de "screamers", en sí no es lo que me perturbó, la música si que lo hizo.

Visualmente es un juego muy parecido a algunos otros que he jugado, no recuerdo los nombres ahora mismo, pero he jugado juegos con un estilo parecido, aunque no de terror. Espero que puedas disfrutar del prólogo y de mi gameplay, realmente apreciaría que me dieras la opinión acerca del sonido, la calidad del vídeo que comprimo bastante para poder subirlo. Hazme saber si preferirías que tuviese más calidad de vídeo para así comprimir menos el vídeo, tus palabras me motivarían más a seguir subiendo estos gameplays.

Solo he jugado el prólogo y puedo decir que es un juego que parece valer totalmente la pena. Solo gasté 1 dólar en él, incluso creo que menos. Así que si tienes un presupuesto ajustado y quieres jugar algo nuevo e interesante, este juego es para ti. Más tarde haré una reseña, si es que logro terminarlo(tengo miedo).

La interacción con los objetos es simple y sencilla, las mecánicas de pelea también lo son, la interacción con las cosas es sencilla también, aunque noté que tienes que acercarte bastante a las cosas para saber si realmente puedes interactuar con ellas o no. Eso no es un problema, casi puedes interactuar con lo más obvio que tienes a la vista.

El sonido es impresionante, en serio. Tenía tiempo sin escuchar algo tan bueno, mi mente se pierde entre los ruidos y la tensión se logra sentir, y eso que el juego no tiene gráficos ultra realistas, visualmente es un juego simple, aunque increíble. Pronto vendré con el siguiente capítulo de este juego, bueno, realmente sería el primer capítulo ya que apenas terminé el prólogo. Nos vemos mis boomers!
