These days have been quite busy, I've been able to play a lot of Fortnite, a bit of VALORANT, League Of Legends, soon we will play CS:GO and well, the magnificent Paladins.

Many will already know the latter, as it's a game that was known as "the free Overwatch". Overwatch was released a year before Paladins, being one of the games that showed the most hype among players. Of course, Overwatch was not for everyone, since you had to buy the game to enjoy it. I personally wanted to play it, but I could only see my favorite Youtubers doing it. The game played pretty frantic matches, where everyone played a different role with amazing abilities.

Later Paladins arrived on my doorstep. The game didn't require a powerful pc, so I downloaded it and tried it out. I loved the game, but it had a lot of negatives. Extremely broken characters and crappy ping. I still enjoyed playing it. Time passed and I felt the game was getting worse and worse on my poor computer, so I had to quit.

Paladins came back into my life thanks to the guys. @ilazramusic mentioned to us that he was playing Paladins, @oldfool and I decided to download it the same night. Although we haven't been able to play alongside Ilaz, we hope that time will come someday. At first Oldfool and I were shocked as we were winning every single game we played. That seemed strange to us, after a few seconds we realized that we were being matched against bots. I think that happened because we were new players and to avoid unfair matchups, they first test us against bots.

We decided to change the server from LAN to NA and to our surprise we were matched against pro people. We found out that the other players were too good and we got our first defeat, finally. That motivates to get better and learn more of the game, no one wants an easy game, the challenges and close games are what calls me to this game. Speaking of close games, @ikasumanera and @kuronokenshi we have had several interesting games, one of them is the one you will see below.

I've tried several characters, but my favorite is the bald Buck. This character is very good at getting to the back lines and wiping out dps and healers. This character's shotgun is quite powerful, plus his skill kit looks amazing to me. One of his abilities allows him to heal himself to almost maximum health, which allows you to resist much longer in confrontations and have the opportunity to get more kills. Another of his skills is a jump, one of the skills I use the most and one of the most important of this character. This jump gives you a lot of mobility and is used to jump all over the map and hit enemies from behind, plus when the character hits the ground after jumping, it lifts everyone nearby. This allows the team to take the advantage while the opponents are immobilized. The other skills are also good, but I already mentioned the ones I use the most with this character.

In Paladins there are several game modes, I think Buck works better in "Kill" mode than in "Siege". I feel that Siege is more dominated by tank characters with much more stamina than assassins, but I have no idea about that, I'm still a noob. I hope to continue enjoying this game with my teammates, in fact, soon I think we will all reach level 15 to be able to play qualifiers. The good stuff is coming. Estos días han sido bastante movidos, he podido jugar mucho Fortnite, un poco de VALORANT, League Of Legends, pronto jugaremos CS:GO y bueno, el magnífico Paladins.

Muchos ya conocerán este último, ya que es un juego que fue conocido como "el Overwatch gratuito". Overwatch se estrenó un años antes que Paladins, siendo uno de los juegos que más hype mostró en los jugadores. Eso sí, Overwatch no era para todo el mundo, ya que debías de comprar el juego para poder disfrutarlo. Yo personalmente quería jugarlo, pero solo podía ver a mis Youtubers favoritos hacerlo. El juego desempañaba partidas bastante frenéticas, en donde todos desempeñaban un rol distintos con habilidades increíbles.

Más tarde Paladins llegó a mi puerta. El juego no requería tener una pc potente, así que lo descargué y lo probé. El juego me encantó, pero tenía muchas cosas negativas. Personajes sumamente rotos y un ping asqueroso. Aún así disfrutaba jugarlo. Pasó el tiempo y sentía que el juego cada vez me iba peor en mi pobre computadora, así que tuve que dejarlo.

Paladins volvió a mi vida gracias a los muchachos. @ilazramusic mencionó que le estaba dando al Paladins, @oldfool y yo decidimos descargarlo la misma noche. Aunque no hemos podido jugar junto a Ilaz, esperamos que ese momento llegue algún día. Al principio Oldfool y yo nos quedamos sorprendidos ya que ganábamos cada una de las partidas que jugábamos. Eso nos pareció extraño, luego de unos segundos nos dimos cuenta que nos estaban emparejando contra bots. Creo que eso sucedió ya que éramos jugadores nuevos y para evitar emparejamientos injustos, primero nos prueban con bots.

Decidimos cambiar el servidor de LAN a NA y para nuestra sorpresa nos emparejaron con gente pro. Descubrimos que los demás jugadores eran demasiado buenos y obtuvimos nuestra primera derrota, finalmente. Eso motiva a mejorar y a aprender más del juego, nadie quiere un juego sencillo, los desafíos y las partidas reñidas son lo que me llama de este juego. Hablando de partidas reñidas, @ikasumanera y @kuronokenshi hemos tenido varias partidas interesantes, una de ellas es la que verán a continuación.

He probado a varios personajes, pero mi favorito es el calvo Buck. Este personaje es muy bueno para llegar a las líneas traseras y arrasar con los dps y healers. La escopeta de este personaje es bastante poderosa, además de que su kit de habilidades me parece increíble. Una de sus habilidades le permite curarse casi el máximo de vida, cosa que te permite resistir mucho más tiempo en los enfrentamientos y tener la oportunidad de obtener más kills. Otra de sus habilidades es un salto, una de las habilidades que más utilizo y una de las más importantes de este personaje. Este salto te da muchísima movilidad y se utiliza para saltar por todo el mapa y golpear a los enemigos por la espalda, además de que cuando el personaje impacta contra el piso después de saltar, levanta a todos los que estén cerca. Eso permite que el equipo da tomar la ventaja mientras los rivales están inmovilizados. Las demás habilidades también son buenas, pero ya mencioné las que más utilizo con este personaje.

En Paladins hay varios modos de juego, creo que Buck funciona mejor en el modo "Matanza" que en "Asedio". Siento que en Asedio predominan más los personajes tanques con mucha más resistencia que los asesinos, pero de eso no tengo ni idea, aún soy un noob. Espero seguir disfrutando de este juego con mis compañeros, de hecho, pronto creo que todos alcanzaremos el nivel 15 para poder jugar clasificatorias. Se viene lo bueno.
