Happy needleworkmonday to you all, it a pleasure to meet you all here again, hope you had a marvelous weekend, today i will sharing with you all on how i cut and sew this beautiful Bustier dress with an under burst corset and a basque waistline to my baby sister, which happens to be my first attempt.

Since i was into this sewing work o have not trying this style before, you know as a seamstress I don't have to reject it because thing depends on determination, once you determine in doing that thing and you put more effort on it, you will definitely know it, in this sewing work we learn to sew by sewing, my baby sister told me about this Bustier dress with an under burst corset and a basque waistline, this style is trending now like every way, especially on occasion, so since she told me about it and she shown me online and i screen shoot, i also went through online and started searching on how to cut and sew, hmmmm i was like watching it the whole day and i have only two days before the occasion day, i didn't want to used the main fabric incase i made a mistake because the fabric was not enough, so i went and bought a cardboard because i haven't seen a brown pepper to buy, my dear needleworkers i didn't know that tailoring work is not an easy work, to cut a fabric or materials into pieces and join them back to become an outfit is not a child play.

The materials using are

• The main Ankara fabric

• The black Lining

• The black Lace

• The black zip

• The breast paths

• The black thread

• The black satin

• The cardboard

• The scissors

• The tape

• The chalk

The procedure

I firstly used my cardboard and fold it into two, starting with the front bustier, after folding it i measured out her burst length, from her shoulder down to her under burst and then i measured her nipples to nipples, i also measured her round burst and divide it by four, and her under burst divided by four, then i draft it out and cut.

After cutting out

After cutting out the front burstier, i moved to the basque waistline,

After cutting out of the cardboard i placed them on the main fabric and cut out.

After cutting out from the fabric i placed it on the lining and cout it out, but on the basque waistline i used the black satin and on the shoulder sweetheart neck.

After that i cut the breast path and fixed,

After that i cut out the basqua waistline on the satin, i cut out 1inch and placed on the satin, i stich the two sides and keep the middle space for boni.

After greating the space i joined the bustier part on the waistline then i started putting bone on it.

I'm done with the front bustier and the basque waistline then i now joined the lining and turned them round but i firstly pin the shoulder sweetheart neck before turning.
I now moved to the back side and fold the fabric by two and measured her body and everything then i pit in 2 inches for zipper allowance.

After cutting i turned with lining and put in a zip, after finishing with the half length i moved to the full length which is the skirt, i measured her full skirt length and her hips divided by four and her waist devided by four, then i put 2 inches allowance and cut it out, after that i fold the fabric by two and i placed the front on the fabric then i put 2 inches for zipper allowance and i cut it out.

I went ahead after turning with lining, i placed the "V" basque waistline on the front skirt and cut out the "V" waistline and i joined the half length together.
The i joined the body together and went ahead with sleeves.
I used the black lace and cut out the sleeves.

After that i cut the flay and join.

After joining the sleeves,and i cut out 7 inches for roop and i close the body and the outfit is so beautiful.
