685 since I saw the television ad announcing the #quarantine in #Venezuela due to the #Covid19 #Pandemic, I'm already thinking that if this March I reach two years of counting, maybe I should stop counting.
I reviewed a bit of #history to see what was in today's #ephemeris and that could give me ideas for the blog, I found that today, in 1832, Lewis Carroll was born. His real name was Charles Lutwidge Dogson, a native of the United Kingdom, mathematician, photographer, writer and expert in logic, throughout his life he wrote various academic works in which he addressed the field of Mathematics and the popularization of Logic Symbolic. But his most international works, the most famous and undoubtedly the ones that immortalized him, were stories: "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There"
The long story of Alice's adventures has several reading levels, children can find it entertaining for its crazy and absurd adventures, for its humor and games, while adults can read it as a critic and social satire of the Victorian Era, in addition to enjoying deciphering the word and logic games that arise throughout the work. The first edition of the tale was covered by Dogson, using his own pocket, but it was an immediate success, so he sure got back everything he invested.
The character of Dogson or Carroll, presents very strange and in some cases disturbing features, even for his time he was a bit strange, I will not say anything bad at this time, but certainly his biographers have a hard time trying to explain his particular choice of his main type of model for his photographs and his fondness for surrounding himself with little girls. Without diminishing his quality as an artist, it must be admitted that he had things that are currently worrying.
Well, for a part of my personal stuff, I'm pretty good, it's been a mostly calm day, cool weather and services working in an acceptable way. If it wasn't for a run-in with a neighbor with whom there is a strained relationship, it would have been a beautiful day. I hope you are well, and we can read each other another time.

Revisé un poco de #historia para ver que había en las efemérides de hoy y que pudiera darme ideas para la bitácora, encontré que hoy, en 1832, Nace Lewis Carroll. Su nombre real era Charles Lutwidge Dogson, nativo del Reino Unido, matemático, fotógrafo, escritor y experto en lógica, a lo largo de su vida escribió diversos trabajos académicos en los que abordó el campo de las Matemáticas y la divulgación de la lógica simbólica. Pero sus trabajos más internacionales, los más famosos y sin duda los que lo inmortalizaron, fueron cuentos: "Las aventuras de Alicia en el país de las maravillas" y "A través del espejo y lo que Alicia encontró allí"
El cuento largo de las aventuras de Alicia tienen varios niveles de lectura, los niños pueden encontrarlo entretenido por sus aventuras locas y absurdas, por su humor y sus juegos, mientras que los adultos pueden leerlo como una crítica y sátira social de la Era Victoriana, además de disfrutar descifrando los juegos de palabras y lógicos que se plantean a lo largo de la obra. La primera edición del cuento fue cubierto por Dogson, usando su propio bolsillo, pero fue un éxito inmediato, así que de seguro recuperó todo lo que invirtió.
El personaje de Dogson o Carroll, presenta rasgos muy extraños y en algunos casos perturbadores, incluso para su época él era un poco extraño, no diré nada malo en este momento, pero ciertamente que sus biógrafos pasan un mal rato tratando de explicar su particular elección de su principal tipo de modelo para sus fotografías y su afición por rodearse de niñas. Sin desmeritar su calidad como artista, hay que admitir que tenía cosas que en la actualidad preocupantes.
Bien, pro parte de mis cosas personales, estoy bastante bien, ha sido un día calmado en su mayoría, clima fresco y servicios funcionando de manera aceptable. Si no fuera por un encontronazo con un vecino con el que hay una relación tensa, habría sido un día hermoso. Espero que tú estés bien y nos podamos leer en otra oportunidad.
