Welcome to the day of the creation of the world. Bienvenido al Día de la Creación del Mundo. Si, suena un poco loco, pero el día de hoy, según los cálculos del arzobispo protestante irlandés James Ussher, el mundo fue creado en el año 4004 AC, mas específicamente ese 22 de Octubre a las 6 de la tarde... Bien, para mi cuenta hoy es el día 588 desde el inicio de la Cuarentena en Venezuela por la pandemia de Covid19 y debo señalar que por lo menos en mi caso soy testigo presencial del evento de inicio y puedo dar fe de ello :)
Quedo bastante sorprendido con esta efemérides y sobre todo con la cuestión de que en los cálculos, publicados en 'Anales del Antiguo Testamento, que deducen los orígenes primeros del mundo' (1650, Annales veteris testamenti, a prima mundi origine deducti) pareciera que simplemente se saltaran todos los problemas de evidencia científica, en parte por la motivación política de hacer que el Rey resultara ser descendiente en línea directa de Adam por su hijo Set, en parte por la pugna que había entre la iglesia protestante anglicana y la iglesia católica romana, aunque también en parte por el simple fanatismo religioso, que es un rasgo destacable de los hombre de una fe realmente profunda e insondable.
Bueno, no sé si esta fecha se celebra de alguna manera particular en algún lugar del mundo, pero me pareció tan interesante que no pude pasarla por alto y decidí centrar mi bitácora de hoy en ella. En asuntos personales, debo decir que amo los días de calma, mi búsqueda de un celular a un precio razonable y dentro de mi presupuesto sigue su curso y espero resolver algo la semana que viene, mi mente está estable y mi salud física no ha dado mayores problemas. En fin, que estoy de Lujo :) Te deseo que estés bien y nos leamos en otra oportunidad
