Friday, 581 days have passed since the quarantine was declared in Venezuela by the Covid19 pandemic. I see in the ephemeris that today is anniversary of the Natalice of the Philosopher, Peet, Musician and German philologist (and later Swiss for change of nationality) Friedrich Nietzsche, who was born on this day in the year 1844.
When young, I was struck by Nietzsche's work, I read it at the university and I found myself stifested by his aphorisms, for his paradoxical, allegorical writing and at times confused for me ... Ok, it was really very confused in the greatest Part of the cases, but at some moment I could feel that my mind achieved some flashes of lucidity and could perceive something of the ideas I read, I really impressed me and I was intrigued everything I could read from Him.
I always felt intrigued by the phrase in "Thus Spoke Zarathustra: A Book for All and None" I was marking the evolutionary transit of humanity to a new state, in his translation was something like "The man is a rope lying between the animal and the superman - a rope on an abyss" Another version of the translation was similar, "Man is the transit between the beast and superman", in order there are many more translations, the original German in which he wrote has the particularity that if he did not find a suitable term for What he meant, he built a new word capable of expressing him, but when it comes to translating is an authentic nightmare. Commented on the phrase, which I liked to see this approach of evolution in the human species, did not matter to humanity as a culmination or an evolution already achieved at its maximum level and that it will no longer change (like a white crocodile or the Large crocodile of the Nile River), rather, raises that humanity is an unfinished species, on the other hand, in evolution, that all limitation and human base should be overcome by the emergence of a new way of existence, one formed by superhombres (Übermensch)
In short, I liked it and now that I think about it, I have a lot of time I do not check or read this kind of thing, I have to give myself a while to enjoy the old books I read some time ago. I wish you you are well and we can read on another chance.

Viernes, han pasado 581 días desde que se declaró la cuarentena en Venezuela por la pandemia de Covid19. Veo en las efemérides que hoy es aniversario del natalicio del filósofo, poeta, músico y filólogo alemán (y posteriormente suizo por cambio de nacionalidad) Friedrich Nietzsche, que nació en este día en el año 1844.
Cuando joven, me llamó la atención la obra de Nietzsche, lo leí en la Universidad y me encontré facinado por sus aforismos, por su escritura paradójica, alegórica y por momentos confusa para mi... Ok, en realidad era MUY confusa en la mayor parte de los casos, pero en algunos momentos podía sentir que mi mente lograba algunos destellos de lucidez y alcanzaba a percibir algo de las ideas que leía, en verdad me impresionaba y me intrigaba todo lo que podía leer de él.
Siempre sentí intriga por la frase en "Así Habló Zaratustra" me marcaba el transito evolutivo de la humanidad a un estad nuevo, en su traducción era algo como "El hombre es una cuerda tendida entre el animal y el superhombre — una cuerda sobre un abismo" otra versión de la traducción era parecida, "El hombre es el transito entre la bestia y el superhombre", en fin que hay muchas traducciones mas, el alemán original en que él escribió tiene la particularidad de que si no encontraba un término adecuado para lo que quería decir, pues construía una nueva palabra capaz de expresarle, pero cuando se trata de traducir es una autentica pesadilla. Comento sobre la frase, que me gustaba ver este enfoque de evolución en la especie humana, no se planteaba a la humanidad como un culmen o una evolución ya lograda a su máximo nivel y que ya no va a cambiar (como un cocodrilo blanco o el gran Cocodrilo del Río Nilo), mas bien, plantea que la humanidad es una especie inacabada, en cambio, en evolución, que toda la limitación y la bajeza humana debía ser superada por el surgimiento de una nueva forma de existencia, una formada por Superhombres (Übermensch)
En fin, me gustaba y ahora que lo pienso, tengo mucho tiempo que no reviso ni leo esta clase de cosas, me tengo que dar un tiempo para volver a disfrutar de los viejos libros que leí hace tiempo. Te deseo que estés bien y nos podamos leer en otra oportunidad.
