Brief description of the daily life in the personal quarantine.

Father's Day, third Sunday of June. It has been a calm day, a good Sunday, nice and quiet. It is already night, and we are finishing a capicua day in this count of days since the #Quarantine was announced in #Venezuela due to the #COVID-19 #Pandemic, it is the second #Father'sDay that we spent with measures of social distancing, recommendation of use of a mask and other biological safety measures... measures that most of the people I see on the street are not complying with at this point.
I spent a good part of the day without having a data signal to connect to the Internet, but at least the electricity service has been working, in short, you have to be happy about the little things, you always have to remember that I'm better than 75-80 % of the rest of the population of this country, according to the Living Conditions surveys, the last time I saw it, just over 90% of the Venezuelan population was classified as poor due to their level of economic income and their ability to satisfy their needs and consumption of services (that is bad), but worse is that 75% of the population is classified in Extreme Poverty, in a situation in which hunger and weakness are a constant reality and endanger life and people's health (dying due to decline is something atrocious)... so in reality, those of us who are simply poor barely make up 15% of the total population of Venezuela.
In this kind of reality, we celebrate, if only by congratulating the parents we know, the ones in our families, and the co-workers who are parents too. I really hope that by next year, our realities will be much more pleasant. I wish you well and that we can read each other another time.

Día del Padre, tercer domingo del mes de junio. Ha sido un día calmado, un buen domingo, agradable y tranquilo. Ya es de noche y estamos terminando un día capicúa en este conteo de días desde que se anunció la #Cuarentena en #Venezuela por la #Pandemia de #Covid19, es el segundo #DiaDelPadre que lo pasamos con las medidas de distanciamiento social, recomendación de uso de tapaboca y otras medidas de seguridad biológica que la mayoría de la gente que veo en la calle no está cumpliendo ya a estas alturas.
Buena parte del día la pasé sin tener señal de datos para conectarme a Internet, pero por lo menos el servicio eléctrico ha estado funcionando, en fin, hay que alegrarse por las pequeñas cosas, siempre es de recordar que estoy mejor que el 75-80% del resto de la población de este país, según las encuestas de Condiciones de Vida, la última vez que la vi, poco más del 90% de la población venezolana estaba clasificada como pobre por su nivel de ingreso económico y su capacidad de satisfacer sus necesidades y el consumo de servicios (eso es malo), pero peor es que 75% de la población está clasificada en Pobreza Extrema, en una situación en la que el hambre y la debilidad son una constante realidad y llegan a poner en peligro la vida y la salud de las personas (morir por mengua es algo atroz)... así que en realidad los que somos simplemente pobres apenas alcanzamos a ser un 15% de la población total de Venezuela.
En esta clase de realidad, celebramos, aunque sea solamente felicitando a los padres que conocemos, los de nuestras familias y los compañeros de trabajo que son padres también. De verdad que deseo que ya para el año próximo nuestras realidades sean mucho más gratas. Te deseo que estés bien y que nos podamos leer en otra oportunidad.
