Exploring Owerri, the Heartland City in Nigeria

Before I go into the details, I want to tell a bit about Imo State. Owerri is the capital of Imo State located In southern Nigeria, set in the heart of Igboland, who are predominantly serving as civil servants. It is one of the largest city followed by Orlu, and other cities. Owerri is at the intersection of roads from Aba, Onitsha, Port Harcourt, and Umuahia.

I carefully studied this as we journey to lmo State.

On Thursday morning i travelled to Imo State, to attend a ministerial assignment. It was a huge success from the beginning of the program to the last day. Even our journey was a smooth one, which I thank God for journey mercies.

I have never been in this state before, but I appreciate my team who chose me to be part of the participants of the program.
Though I didn't have transport, someone sponsored by transport fare and I decided to join the queue. I didn't just travel there to focus on the program buy I learnt a lot starting from our journey to our destination.

This is house of assemble road, Owerri. The environment was serene and conducive unlike other States that used to be noisy and dubious activities.

Reaching there was another fantastic moment of meeting with new friends not only ourselves that went, we exchange pleasantries, hugging people we never met before, establishing genuine relationship with one another. One of them we greeted took us up and gave us a place to stay and to keep our luggages before joining the seminar.

It was a nice experience of exploring another environment apart from my state.
At mere settling down to the teachings there, I learnt a lot from the teachings of the Man of God. It was a massive one.

This is one of the things,I learnt. I learnt that our future starts now by practicalising it not just saying it and fold out hands and sit. God knows our future better than we know, we must to get involved with God, his word and with the works of hands.

Sharing the in-depthed knowledge of God to the poor (those that lack this knowledge) the truth about Him.

If we want to grow, we must to take action to experience that dimensions of growth. Not just hearing it but putting it into action.
