It feels good to be here again with you all. In line with the theme for this week “The Singing Voice”, I bring you this awesome vibrant song from the rock and metal genre known as “Hey, Soul Sister” by the fantastic rock band “Train”.
This American rock band was formed in San Francisco in 1993. This band combines rootsy mainstream rock with classic rock. The band experienced success in a slow but steady manner. They started off without a record deal and toured for a long while before their mega hit.
The band's classic line-up as of 2022 includes Pat Monahan Joey (lead vocals), Hector Maldonado (vocals, bass), Taylor Locke (vocals, guitar), Matt Musty (drums), Jerry Becker (keyboards, guitar), Nikita Houston (backup vocals), and Sakai Smith (backup vocals).
The song lyrics talk about love. It talks about why the singer and songwriter love his soulmate so much. It is a fun and cheesy song. It is one of those songs you sing and just vibe to. Nothing too deep. It brings a pop feel to classic rock.

Se siente bien estar aquí de nuevo con todos ustedes. En línea con el tema de esta semana "La voz cantante", les traigo esta impresionante y vibrante canción del género rock y metal conocida como "Hey, Soul Sister" de la increíble banda de rock "Train".
Esta banda de rock estadounidense se formó en San Francisco en 1993. Esta banda combina el rock mainstream de raíces con el rock clásico. La banda experimentó el éxito de forma lenta pero constante. Empezaron sin un contrato discográfico y estuvieron de gira durante mucho tiempo antes de su gran éxito.
