HIVE EXPERIENCE, MY TAKEAWAY!
As a newbie on Hive, I must confess that navigating my way around the platform is both fun and challenging sometimes. I have thrown myself into reading as much as I can about the platform and honestly, it gets interesting with every read.
More than anything, I am more encouraged and motivated to forge ahead regardless. Consistency, perseverance, making genuine connections via engaging with other people’s posts amongst other things are definitely fundamental factors.
My Experience Thus Far
I realize that as a newbie, I am required to engage via posting, commenting, upvoting, reblogging, etc on the platform in a consistent manner which is fun. However, the catch is HP is required to successfully carry out these transactions and there is not much around for now.
Apparently, this makes it a bit challenging to be active on the platform as much as one would like.
A very special thank you to the lovely @young-boss-karin who delegated HP to me in order to kick-start and become a bit active. I am indeed grateful to her.
But hey, I am not complaining.
On the flip side, there is so much room for growth and content development on my part. While waiting for my posts to gain traction and in some cases get rewarded, I have devoted time to creating and writing more fun pieces to share with others as well as engaging with other people’s content on the platform.
My experience so far in a nutshell.
My Takeaway
On Hive, there is no wasted energy in posting, swiping, and engaging. In my 8days on this platform, my efforts have paid off regardless of their value.
I have a strong sense of gratitude and drive to keep going as they say, “little drops make an ocean”.
Looking at other social platforms, I can definitely say Hive tops the chats for freedom without censorship, rewards your content, and gives you the power to own your content.
Quiet as my feeds may be for now and sometimes frightening to understand the basics of this platform, it is sure a rewarding thrill worth chasing.

Also had issues with the HP but gradually you'd get more as you post so you would not need delegation.

This is the important part. If you can keep doing this constantly then you will earn some hive and build a profile. From there, you can take that hive and earn from staking or bring it to other parts of the eco-system to start earning passively. Over time it adds up and becomes quite substantial.
