What do you feel today?

"Let there be in you this feeling that was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider being equal to God as a thing to hold on to, but instead stripped himself, taking the form of a servant , made similar to men, and being in the condition of man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, and death on the cross. Therefore God also exalted him to the utmost, and gave him a name that is above all names, so that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow to those in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. "
Philippians 2: 5-11

The form is what makes you the way you are.

Jesus in his condition of God, stripped himself of his deity to make himself similar to men and being in the condition of man, he also stripped himself of that condition, becoming a servant of all, being obedient until death, even unjustly to give salvation to those who lived unfairly.

This passage is not tremendous.

Let there be in you, those who claim to be Christians and children of God, this feeling that was in Christ Jesus.
What is that feeling, to leave the pride of believing that we know everything, of living pretending what we are not, of living below what God called us to do.

Being a servant means serving. Being a servant means that we have an owner to whom we respond.

Jesus, being the owner, became a servant. And we as servants want to become owners.

Jesus told his disciples, whoever wants to be the first, be everyone's servant.

We as children of God, or Christians, must serve.
If we say that Jesus is our Lord, then we are his slaves, and we must obey him.
But it is not our Lord.
If He is not our Lord, then another is dominating us, the devil.
Jesus served His Father and showed us how to do it.
Jesus being God became man, Jesus being man became servant.
Jesus being a servant, he gave his life for his Father in complete obedience.
Jesus was tempted in everything, like us and he could have sinned, but he did not do it, because he had the cross on his eyebrows, there he was going to consummate all Victory, and that after that service, he would no longer be a servant but Lord of all Whoever kneels down and confesses that He is Lord for the glory of God the Father.

What do you feel today? The one in Christ?
Or the feeling of everyone, being more than the other, regardless and that everyone serves me in a selfish attitude.
Pride and vainglory leads you to humiliation, humility, obedience, and service for love leads you to exaltation on the part of God.

Jesus because he loved took the form of a servant, Jesus because he loved was obedient, Jesus because he loved humbled himself.

Let there be in you this feeling that was in Him. Then, you will only be recognized and promoted by the Father.

I bless you with the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you. This is one of my favorite passages.

It is in the very nature of God to serve and to love. Unlike us, God is not pulled into the endless scramble for position that characterizes humans. He doesn't try to enlarge himself but rather empties himself for us. When we imitate this we become more like God.

Great post. God bless.
