Sometimes these guys (snails) would just go their way without minding anyone especially when they know their destination and have calculated how many hours to achieve that lol.
Other times they react for protection.

Lol, yes, hours as they are slow. I have taken a few photo lately of snails and was testing them, to see if they hear or see or sense me getting closer to them with the camera. I had no trouble so far but I know if you try to touch them, they go hiding. We used to do that when we were kids. Now I just pick them up when they are on the sidewalk or road and put them out of the way, on the grass, somewhere safe.
