Mi mejor fin de semana: 10 victorias en 'Mythic' (Reporte del WR) [ ESP | ENG ]
Hoy me toca celebrar mi propio desempeño en el Weekend Ranked. Por primera vez, desde que el evento de fin de semana se juega a 18 partidas, logré el objetivo planteado. Con 10 victorias ajustadas en Mythic, luego de un mal comienzo y una remontada espectacular, alcancé la meta del pack legendario.
Today it's my turn to celebrate my own performance in the Weekend Ranked. For the first time since the weekend event is played to 18 games, I achieved my goal. With 10 close wins in Mythic, after a bad start and a spectacular comeback, I reached the goal of the legendary pack.
Como acabo de mencionar, empecé el WR de muy mala manera, con marca de 1/3. Tres derrotas y apenas una victoria en las primeras cuatro partidas me hicieron plantearme un escenario muy cuesta arriba. Por fortuna pude remontar el resultado pronto, concretando cuatro victorias consecutivas y a partir de ahí mantuve una lucha constante por no desprenderme del objetivo de las 10 victorias. Finalmente lo conseguí con otra racha de triunfos (tres) al hilo; estos últimos contra aggro war, un arquetipo que, no está de más decir, abundó este fin de semana.
As I just mentioned, I started the WR in a very bad way, with a 1/3 record. Three losses and only one victory in the first four matches made me face a very uphill scenario. Fortunately I was able to recover the result soon, achieving four consecutive victories and from then on I kept a constant struggle not to get rid of the goal of 10 wins. I finally achieved it with another winning streak (three) in a row; the latter against aggro war, an archetype that, needless to say, abounded this weekend.
El mazo | The deck
Por supuesto, el aggro light al cual dediqué un video recientemente, ese que me ayudó a avanzar desde Auric Gold hasta Mythic justo antes del WR, fue mi elegido. Era el mazo al que más tiempo le había dedicado en días anteriores y me dejaba muy buenas sensaciones.
Of course, the aggro light to which I dedicated a video recently, the one that helped me to advance from Auric Gold to Mythic just before the WR, was my chosen one. It was the deck I had spent the most time with in previous days and it left me with a very good feeling.

El juego con este mazo consiste en avasallar al rival con criaturas lo más pronto posible; tomar el control del campo en turnos tempranos es vital para optar por la victoria. Para ello añadí 17 criatruas de coste uno de mana, que fueron más que suficientes para cumplir con esa tarea. Es por eso que, de momento, no barajo la posibilidad de sustituir alguna carta, sin embargo estaré provando otras variantes próximamente.
The game with this deck is to overwhelm the opponent with creatures as soon as possible; taking control of the field in early turns is vital to opt for victory. To do so, I added 17 one mana cost creatures, which were more than enough to accomplish that task. That is why, for the moment, I do not consider the possibility of substituting any card, however I will be trying other variants soon.
Por otro lado, estoy convencido de que añadir a Empyrean Pacificist y Humble Benefactor, además de usar el efecto del segundo para aprovechar el del primero, fue un gran acierto. Ambos esbirros se complementaron muy bien uno con el otro y, junto con Sern, Canonize y Asterius, ahora mismo los considero como inamovibles.
On the other hand, I am convinced that adding Empyrean Pacificist and Humble Benefactor, as well as using the effect of the latter to take advantage of the former, was a great success. Both minions complemented each other very well and, together with Sern, Canonize and Asterius, right now I consider them as immovable.
¿Y ahora qué? | And now what?
Existe un adagio popular que reza que «equipo que gana, repite». Pues, a menos de que suceda algo muy grave, casi con total seguridad haré caso a esas palabras y repetiré con aggro light para jugar el próximo WR. Quizá haga un par de modificaciones pero no veo mayor razón por la cual el meta podría hacer un cambio drástico en comparación a estos últimos días, así que, en teoría, rendirá en "igualdad" de condiciones para el próximo WR.
De igual forma, como previsión, jugaré un tanto con mi acostumbrado control magic y un aggro deception; solo por si acaso. Hoy celebro por primera vez las 10 victorias (y estuve a nada de la onceava), quizá la próxima sea mejor.
There is a popular adage that says that "the team that wins, repeats". Well, unless something very serious happens, I will almost certainly heed those words and repeat with aggro light to play the next WR. I might make a couple of modifications but I see no reason why the meta could make a drastic change compared to the last few days, so, in theory, it will perform in "equal" conditions for the next WR..
Anyway, as a foresight, I will play a tanto with my usual control magic and an aggro deception; just in case. Today I celebrate for the first time the 10 victories (and I was nothing from the eleventh), maybe the next one will be better.

Me gusta la dupla, "Empyrean Pacificist" y "Humble Benefactor"... una forma de hacer que "Empyrean Pacificist" llegue pronto a "10 health" y gane "frontline".👍👍👍
Exactamente es por eso que los uso. Empyrean tiene una sinergia espectacular con todo el deck, pero es especialmente bien complementado por el Humble.
Indeed, it is how I usually lose against a Light deck when it builds a considerable advantage in controlling the board.
Of course, that's the key with aggro light. Otherwise, I would most likely end up defeated.
